“Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with YWS. It started out rocky trying to schedule an appointment with the answering service, who seemed a bit confused. My initial appointment with Dr. George went well and I thought my experience had been redeemed...it had not! On 2 separate occasions YWS scheduled in office appointments for me and when I showed up early as they requested, no one was there, matter of fact the office was closed and I was not seen by anyone. The second time this happened, no one even called to apologize and they also sent me a bill. I had already referred 3 co workers to this practice, as I always try to promote black businesses. Of course, I have asked my co workers to please cancel their upcoming appointments. Please do better YWS!”

“I have been a patient at Your Wellness Sources for over five years. While Dr. George is an excellent provider, my experience with the billing department has unfortunately led me to discontinue services and seek care elsewhere. I have encountered ongoing billing issues, including repeated incorrect charges, which have created unnecessary stress and hardship. Despite multiple attempts to resolve these concerns over several months, the issues remained unresolved. It is disappointing to leave a provider I respect, but accurate billing and responsive support are essential. I hope the practice addresses these concerns to improve the overall patient experience.”

“I truly thought I’d found the perfect primary care practice. Dr. George is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and she truly seemed to care about her patients. Though I’d had multiple issues with chaotic scheduling, poor communication, and last minute cancellations over the last year, I brushed them off because I really liked Dr. George. My feelings have changed significantly over the last week, though. While I’m supposed to be recovering from surgery, I’ve been on the phone and on the portal nearly every day trying to get in touch with Dr. George for time-sensitive paperwork. I’ve gotten multiple calls and texts from her office staff providing blame and excuses for the delay, but Dr. George has not called me back or responded to any of my portal messages. After fielding my frustrated calls, one of her office assistants finally scheduled me for a tele-health visit just to remind Dr. George to call me, and when she didn’t even show up for that I was called by another office assistant with more empty platitudes and excuses. The paperwork was finally emailed after a week of pleading, but the fact that instead of providing a timeline, an apology, or a response to my messages, I was met with unproductive calls from staff who weren’t in a position to provide answers, showed me everything I needed to know about Dr. George’s commitment to her patients. I truly hate that I’ll be back on the hunt for a new PCP, but the way I’ve been treated over this last week just can’t be overlooked.”
