What patients say on Google
“For years I grew up having all my pains and symptoms ignored and so having a brain tumor went completely unnoticed for 14 years as well as an eating disorder and bad mental health, Dr Fortonberrie was the first doctor I ever had that lisined to what was wrong and didn't dismiss my symptoms and thankfully got me the best possible surgeon and help as well as took care to constantly ask my family for updates on my treatment while at st Jude and when recovering after every surgery.”
“A 86 yr old female Marine Veteran goes in for a visit. She’s confused. The receptionist deliberately makes a few short comments under her breath to agitate the 86 year old. Dr Fortenberry did not hear the conversation however he did decided the 86 year old wasn’t worthy of his time. Granted she served in the Marines without deciding whom she would protect. Instead of immediately ordering labs to rule out a UTI, Dr Fortenberry writes a letter to 86 yr old saying she must find a new doctor. Dr Fortenberry needs his medical license revoked. He would prefer that the 86year old suffer and go untreated for a UTI than teach his medical staff on the appropriate way of dealing with our elderly. I hope any and everyone reading this will think twice about letting this man treat their aging parents. Dr Fortenberry should definitely NOT be treating disabled Veterans!! He’s no good. Unfortunately, when you’re a Veteran you do not get to select your own physicians. They protect everyone yet when it comes time to protect them we have these lame doctors that can’t see past a dollar sign. I am proud to call this 86yr old Marine my Mother. She has been treated for the UTI that Dr Fortenberry could not take the time to treat. And she’s still going strong. Every person over 60 should be tested for a UTI if their behavior is a bit off. They should not be tossed aside like an old pair of shoes. Shame on Fortenberry and his incompetent staff.”
