What patients say on Google

“This clinic has gone down tremendously over the years. Not long ago my mothers care taker took her in to the clinic to see Dr Lovitt before he retired. My mother is 81 and in a wheelchair, the caretaker asked the nurse for a little help getting my mom in the car just to ensure she doesnt drop her or fall. The response of the clinic manager was "why now, she got in here somehow" Today I had an appointment with Dr Fortenberry. I understood the nurse that called that I had an appt at 1:50. I showed up at 1.30 and was told that I missed my appt, that in fact it was at 1:15. I explained myself and the receptionist called the nurse and they refused to see me. All of the other Hburg clinics have a 15 minute window. However even at the 10 min window I was told they had at Petal, it was still a whole 9 minutes that I was behind. 9 minutes! I was one of 4 People in that clinic. Ridiculous care, and now they have denied my prescription refills and I cannot see the doctor.”

“Came here to figure out what was happening to my hands. “Doctor” said I had ringworms. I disagreed, so they brought another “doctor” in to check me out. That “doctor” also said I had ringworms. I still disagreed. Paid over $200 to speak to a specialist in Laurel and that doctor told me I was simply having an allergic reaction to my nail polish. The Laurel doctor gave me the proper treatment and I got better. So just be cautious when being treated at this Petal clinic.”
Hailey Patterson
“The front desk receptionist was very kind and responsive. However, the nurse and physician, Dr. Johnson, presented as uninterested in care. They were rushed at 8:10 am. I left there in tears because I was not heard and was not cared about or for.”
Shannon James
“Last week I had lab work done at Petal clinic. Jackie was amazing! I never felt a thing. I hope the office manager and providers know what a good job she does. Not only did I not feel it. But she was through so quick.”
