“Yesterday me and my husband took our 5 year old son to see Dr. Carosso him and his assistant gave us so much clarity for our son and knowing what to expect in his case with a diagnosis of level 2 autism which is mainly because our son does not talk yet still just babbles. We were so greatful of Dr.Carosso and his assistant we appreciate everything they told us and kind words about our son! He will start kindergarten this year a d get all the help he can with knowing what to expect in his case walking into to school and no one will be blind sided on how to help him and knowing we can still contact the Dr. if we need to! “I usually dont do reviews let alone bad reviews -but when it comes to my son, I REFUSE to sit in silence. So we were referred to dr. Carosso as "the best". We've had MULTIPLE evaluations done by licensed medical providers as well as psych & behavioral providers. I unfortunately wasn't able to make the appointment due to being a nurse that works full time night shift in a Hospital. I absolutely hate giving bad reviews. However, my husband said Carosso seemed irritated that we had to have both of our boys there when only one needed an evaluation. From my understanding, he was criticizing & judging other providers evaluations & us as parents & how he's "just baffled" by the fact that no one has ever diagnosed him with autism (even though he doesn't show the common signs other than limited speech). This is a very sensitive topic for our family (as well as many others families) & We've been working since he was THREE YEARS OLD to figure out what is wrong with our son & get him the right help. Essentially Carosso says he's just gonna give him the autism diagnosis so that he can recieve all the help he needs in school & outpatient.. honestly, I appreciated that because that's WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IS MORE HELP. Specifically with his speech & some of the behavioral issues we have with him. However, I can tell you I have not had one provider ever speak down to us or criticize anyone else's opinion due to nothing other than arrogance in just a 2 minute phone call before I started my shift that night. When he also stated I'd have a full report of the evaluation the following day.. it never came so I called & was told, "it takes 3 weeks". Another thing, all insurance information was provided BEFORE/when we got to the appointment. If you don't accept aetna insurance, maybe inform you patients before hand, rather than 2 weeks AFTER the appointment. The woman got smart & said its "the parents responsibility to call the insurance". So I also got rude, & no I won't apologize for it because I'm tired of going to providers & being treated like an imbecile from office staff. At this point, if you don't want to provide an accurate & thorough evaluation (according to your rude billing lady) due to an insurance hiccup. Keep it, & we'll continue on working hard to find more help somewhere else. You people need to keep in mind that not only do these kids go through hell and back with trying to navigate their lives, but so do we as parents -If you cant accept the parents along with the child, maybe you should all consider a new career path.. we as parents are accepting every part & blame of why our kids have all these problems, not to mention i know im not the only mother out there who has stayed awake countless nights in tears researching & trying to figure out where I went wrong during my pregnancy or during his early childhood years to figure out why he is the way he is. As a mother & Healthcare professional myself, I will no longer accept being spoken down to by another professional. At this point, it's just unacceptable. If you have had better experiences with this guy, kudos to you for finding & getting the help your child needs. If you've had experiences similar to ours with him.. maybe share it too so that future parents are made aware. Following his report my last name is misspelled, his pcp is misspelled, as well as my sons elementary school. If it was a thorough evaluation & considering it took 3 weeks to get the report back, I would assume a "professional" would read through paperwork & correct the names of places & people that have been in contact with the child. This whole place is inappropriate. I will be looking for ANOTHER opinion & will update this review as soon as I have it. Do yourself a favor and bring your egotistical attitude down a notch & STOP SPEAKING DOWN TO PARENTS. DO BETTER.”

“Beyond grateful to have my son seen by Dr Carosso. The first thing I can say is, I finally felt heard and listened to. Not a single time were my concerns dismissed by Dr Carosso, but he instead heard me out. Every single concern was listened to and we were given so many resources and ways to go about life. It had been such a struggle over the years due to Covid shut downs and my son's long list of health problems, including dismissive doctors in the past. Finally I have validation and relief for what I already knew but needed a good doctor to care enough to help. So with that said, I thank you kindly. I highly recommend this doctor.”
