“This practice enforces a strict missed appointment policy. I responded to a reminder text the day of appointment. Select #2 to cancel. Work conflict. The response text was time stamped 1 hour 45 mins prior to appointment time. They took $150 dollars out of my bank account without my knowledge. I responded with their office to inquire was told the cancellation was inside their two hour window. I ask why did then you sent me a reminder text inside the two hour window with the option to cancel? No response on that one. I understand policies exist, their was no flexibility, partial credit offered or willingness to work with me at all. The physician involved was Dr. Reed, and as a result of this situation, I am now without much needed medication. In a mental health setting, I expected a bit more compassion or discretion rather than purely transactional response. I recommend you be very aware that the policy is enforced exactly as written, with no exceptions. More about the money and less about the patients”
