What patients say on Google

“I had a terrible experience here. The day after my intake appointment, someone called me rudely asking what I “planned to do” about owing them $200. I didn’t understand why I would owe that much. She laughed and said “so you don’t understand how your own insurance works?”, then proceeded to tell me wildly incorrect information about my policy. It took weeks, and multiple phone calls with the many unpleasant people employed here, for them to reach the conclusion that I’d actually overpaid them. Casey told me she was processing my refund over 2 weeks ago, which was a lie. Vicky was the only person to ever apologize to me at all throughout this process. Melissa (apparently the supervisor) was running her mouth about how I was wrong while on speakerphone, in the middle of me trying to give a reference number to Vicky. I’m assuming she was unaware I could hear her loud and clear. Extremely rude and unprofessional, not to mention she was indeed WRONG. She’s also the one who ended up calling me back to confirm everything I said was correct, but no apology from her of course. I recorded all of these interactions and have escalated the situation to my insurance company as well as the state board. I waited to review until I got refunded because I honestly don’t trust these people at all. If I were a therapist here, I would be very unhappy to know how the staff is treating clients. Especially considering they just lost out on recurring sessions. I’ll take my business somewhere that knows how to bill correctly and speak to people kindly. I would never expect these types of people to be employed at a mental health office. I truly don’t appreciate that I was looking for a safe space here, but instead got met with such hostility over money I didn’t even owe. I’ll never be back and will tell everyone I meet to steer clear of this place.”

“I previously saw Rachel at another clinic and she helped me navigate some pretty serious trauma I was experiencing as well as past trauma. I am seeing her again for a traumatic death that recently happened in my life and I am very grateful for her help navigating something that I never dreamed I would ever experience. The office vibe is very calm and relaxing. Thankful for her help more than words can express!”

“Casey is incredible for nutrition! Rachel is incredible for utilizing yoga movements and somatic for therapy. Great mind body connection. And their classes are great too!”

“I’ve had a really positive experience with Park Hill Counseling. The therapists are very empathetic and genuinely take the time to listen and understand what you’re going through. I also really appreciate their holistic approach. Along with traditional therapy, they offer things like massage therapy, sound therapy and yoga, which makes coming to Park Hill Counseling feel more well-rounded and a supportive environment.”
