“Ive been with this practice for almost a year and have dealt with the same problems month after month. The biggest issue is responsiveness. A few months ago they changed their medication refill to online only and their phone recording started sending you to the website for refills. Thats fine, but when I submit for new medication through the refill portal, it routinely takes a week for my pharmacy to get the request. My wife says she doesn't have this issue which leads me to believe my provider Matt Helmers isnt monitoring his requests. I called the medication line two days ago and expressed concerns over responsiveness and requested a new provider. Brittany at the front desk said she would send me to a new provider and transferred me to Rachel on the medication refill team. I was assured if my new provider couldnt fill my request I would get a call back. It didnt happen. I called back today and had the same conversation with Hannah and she said there were no notes she could see for my previous call and she would need to send a message to Matt who was "currently taking an army test" and they would get back to me ASAP. Never heard back from either of them. I find it hard to believe a medical practice would not take notes on patient calls and concerns much less ignore multiple requests for callbacks. This whole ordeal has been the most unprofessional, dismissive experience i can recall with a medical provider and will no doubt influence my decision to recommend them to anyone.”
“After auditing our family’s clinical records for appointments dating back to at least 2023, I discovered a consistent pattern of what appears to be systemic “upcoding”. For nearly every session involving three separate family members, WoodStream billed moderate-intensity medical codes and psychotherapy add-on codes (CPT 99214 and 90833). However, the clinical notes provided to me are boilerplate templates that consistently state the patient is “doing very well” with “no changes”. This clinical status does not meet the requirements for moderate-intensity medical decision-making (99214). Furthermore, the “therapy” notes provided were largely copy-pasted and lacked the unique documentation required to survive a medical audit. When I questioned these charges, the office manager explicitly informed me that they bill the specific therapy add-on code (90833) for “every appointment over 15 minutes” simply to ensure they “get paid”, regardless of the actual clinical complexity or services provided. This is a direct violation of medical coding standards and has resulted in significant out-of-pocket overcharges for our family. I have attempted to resolve this with their billing department, and reported it to the Ohio Attorney General. While the business claimed to the AG that their records support these codes, the actual records in my possession show zero unique documentation to justify individual therapy or moderate-intensity billing for routine visits where no medical changes occurred. I am sharing this to warn other families to closely monitor their statements and request their clinical notes.”
“Ashley Gloud has been my psychiatrist for years and I could not picture myself with any other! She has listened to my needs, and understands me to her fullest. She is the best! I would recommend over and over. ❤️”
“Emily Bush has been the most wonderful prover I have come across. She listens, she understands, she HELPS! She gives you the resources you need, and she is more than willing to go above and beyond for her patients. I would recommend anyone to her. She literally the best. So thankful we found her.”
