What patients say on Google

“My first visit went very well from reception to finish. My nurse was kind, friendly, and showed me around. Dr. Ewing was very welcoming and put me at ease right away. He had to ask many questions this being an intake or admission into their care center. He didn’t rush through but gave me time to think before answering and clarified questions if needed. I felt listened to. I was involved in my care plan, able to discuss and ask question about medication choices and their effects.”

“I have found that all employees of WMED Contribute their part in making a patient’s Experience a good one. Not only would I give a good recommendation to someone, but actually, I have done this already. My older brother is coming to stay with me the end of June either for a few weeks or a few months or perhaps even a year. I’m really looking forward to it as we have always been very close. My older brothers (I had two of them, but one of them passed away two years ago on June 7), have always taken very good care of me so now it’s my turn to help them.”

“The Doctor here has helped tremendously compared to other doctors I've seen. When I came to him I wasn't at baseline at all I was borderline having to go inpatient. He medicated me right and got me to the point where I was a lot better. Later on some things came up that weren't his fault just the crap of life where I got even worst than last time. He again medicated me and communicated with me to get me back at baseline. Im doing really good now all glory to God but I thank God for giving him the education and knowledge to help me. I don't feel super doped up and I'm not on a ton of medication even with all I've been through. Having to be on some extra meds for now I can get all my tasks and stuffs I need to do each day I'm not in bed all day drooling. What's good about W Med if you go to Bronson and have my chart app you can message them from there. If you get any tests done like blood work he can see it on there too. Everyone's super nice I really like his nurse I send messages to that send them to him. I feel really bad because when I've been bad mentally I sent some pretty off messages and a lot and not once did they judge me or make me feel bad about my self. I like it if I tell him I'm having a negative side effect or want off the med he will do what he can he docent just tell you no this is how it is and that's not how doctors should treat you your a team. Ive had my share of doctors like that before and it cause serious mental and physical health problems. Also I wasn't able to function do my normal things in life and enjoy them. Stuff isn't perfect now but I've had really bad experience going inpatient and I just feel blessed to be home I feel safe and I'm no harm to others and that's because I have the good doctor I have.”

“Stay away unless you want to be duped into being a test subject.. They tried to get me to sign an consent from for a pill.. Im sorry, they are supposed to be doctors.. Doctors are supposed to do no harm.. they should have confidence in the medication they are prescribing. This place does not have your best interests in mind.. they are part of the problem that is our healthcare system.”
