What patients say on Google

“This place is all smoke and mirrors. While the staff may seem friendly, they are very catty, dismissive, and unprofessional. I cannot speak to all therapists there, but the one I was seeing, was forced out of her position, and they (Vallis) canceled all her appointments before they "let her go," forcing a resignation instead. Terribly unprofessional. When things are cheap, don't expect amazing results. As such, their rooms are sterile. The therapists share the rooms, so there is no personalization between you and them, or for you to know them better. I'm very happy my therapist found a far better position, because this place is a beautiful train wreck.”

“Extremely disappointed with this facility and how they handle their clients. I found out in mid Nov that my insurance would be changing on Jan 1. My previous provider did not accept my new insurance and I had been on the waitlist for 4+ months with this office. Conveniently, they had an opening in early December so I informed them of my new insurance and was told that would be fine, so I scheduled and attended 2 appointments. Following my second appointment, I asked the front desk staff if I needed to provide information about my new insurance and they said they would do that at my next appointment so I scheduled and left. Trying to be proactive since they spend the first few minutes of your appointment charging you for the appointment, I called the day before my appointment on my lunch break to proactively provide new insurance info. After being on hold for 10+ minutes, I was told that my care provider did not accept my new insurance but others in the office did. I cancelled my appointment and planned on finding a new provider altogether. 2 weeks later, I was charged a late cancellation fee. Long story short, the manager said there were no notes in my file of where I informed them of my new insurance, therefore there were not in the wrong. After explaining my story and that the entire reason I came to them in the first place was because I was told they accept my new insurance, he continued to said that no one remembers me saying anything about my new insurance, basically calling me a liar, and refused to refund the unauthorized charge. The facility is very hard to find with little signage, and a creepy long white hallway to their main office. None of the staff ever felt friendly. The only thing good about this place is the care provider herself but honestly, dealing with the facility is not worth the stress.”

“Make sure you schedule any appointments on Thursday or Friday, because you have to give a 3-BUSINESS DAY notice of cancelation. Oh, and use their form. If you're sick, be prepared to show a doctor's note. This place is more of a daycare than a mental health center.”

“I can't say enough good things about Rana at Vallis Mental Health! She is incredibly professional, helpful, and understanding. From day one, Rana made me feel heard and supported, and her guidance has been invaluable. She truly listens and offers thoughtful insights that have made a huge difference in my life. I couldn’t have asked for a better therapist and highly recommend Rana to anyone seeking compassionate and effective care!”
