“DR HELZER .. he is the BEST at what he does and he’s a real person if you choose him as your pcp he will bond with you and tell the way it is. and he be honest (brutally sometimes) but he genuinely loves his patients and genuinely cares about his patients health! the is real.. i suffer bladder cancer and a USMC vet stationed at camp lejeune… here’s one for you.. i had my annual with VA and they gave a an all clear .. then medicare also requires an annual so Helzer did mine and he is the MAN .. he detected abnormal cells in my urine which became an ongoing investigation of what was wrong with me. CAT scan revealed a tumor and after removal it was determined to be malignant. I honestly owe my life to Dr Marc Helzer .. a great doctor and a good man that i look up to.. Marc thank you for saving my life … he’s a good man.. and if you have a chance to pick a doctor under u of m health west.. pick Helzer and stay alive and stay healthy..”

“This practice apparently likes to go down with their ship. Respectable if it’s a ship we are talking about. But this is your health. Frigga Jacob is highly disrespectful of your time and will leave you hanging for 37 minutes on a 2nd appt of the day. Further Frigga farms out all male issues to another doctor. Her assistants mess with your drugs so that Frigga can later come in and fix them again. Expensive office visits are required often for the same drugs and conditions. Go BLUE on basketball (2026) but not U of M West Rockford. Won’t allow you to schedule with another doctor if you won’t see the weakest links. You just made it easy! Frigga is not for busy professionals or men as I headline on Healthgrades. BTW, anyone know a good doctor? ;-) I agree with the other reviews on Marc Helzer though. Great guy. Wrong practice location.”

“This place has been terrible ever since I’ve gone there. we’re we hoping to get certain nurses because other ones made the shots hurt so bad. I have been on birth control for a year and they have never made me pee in a cup over and over for it each time but one nurse, April has been making them make me because she saw me freak out. Today I was told I didn’t have to pee in a cup because I just had one day ago, but April was very rude with the other nurse and made me make me pee in a cup. I have never been so uncomfortable at a doctors office. Doctors should be places people feel it’s ok to be at but I cry every time I have to go because of how rude they are. I honestly could never recommend this place to anyone I know and I would never feel comfortable sending my family here.”
