How likely are you to recommend Melissa R. Tower, MA, LLP, CPC?
What patients say on Google
“Melissa has changed my life. Her therapy methods are not easy but help you beyond what you thought you were capable of. She has a way of feeling more like my friend rather than a therapist during our sessions. I feel so comfortable with her and hope she can be my therapist for a lifetime. Any patient would be lucky to have her sound mind and voice to guide them through a difficult time or just life in general. So grateful I met her, I’ve been a patient for over three years. She also has the sweetest side kick, her amazing dog that has helped me as well who is currently in training to become a therapy dog. I’ve grown to love them both. I recommend Melissa to many of my friends and will continue.”
“I was referred to Melissa over 10 years ago when I was sharing with a friend how I had been through 5 other therapists trying to deal with the traumatic grief of losing my son just a few months prior. That I just couldn't find one who really seemed like they even cared about my grief. Every one of those therapists asked me how I was/feeling.....how the heck do you think, I just buried my 18 year old son! So when I met Melissa, she had no clue of my prior therapist experience. Not once did she ever ask that question. That was my first great impression, instead she allowed me to go where I needed to in this journey and helped me along the way. Grief is ugly and messy and unpredictable. Melissa's true compassion, caring heart, her knowledge and dedication to you is over and above what I had ever received from a therapist. She doesn't rush you, she is prompt on returning calls or emails. She follows through on everything she tells you. She is honest, even if it something that can be hard to hear at first. It is because she really truly cares about you and has your very best interest in her heart. I honestly can say if I had never been referred to her and gone to her, I would not be where I am today in my grief journey. Due to Melissa, I have learned it is ok to smile and laugh again, that I can talk about my son with knowing he wants me to smile and laugh. And its ok to still have the waves crash me down. But with the help from Melissa, I have learned not to allow those waves completely drown me and how to get back up. Most of this journey has been in the office and I have to say at first when the thought of telehealth visits was the only option due to COVID, I wasn't super excited, but Melissa did not allow anything to distract her or to not be available, or for her treatment to be any different. She has made these visits be just as if we were in the office face to face. God Bless you Melissa!”
“I have been with Melissa since I was 13 years old. She is the only person that I thought truly cared about my problems. She is the most caring, trustworthy person you will meet. She has nothing but your best interest at heart, hence why I havent left her! I promise you, you wont have a bad experience. Open yourself up to her in one day or months, she will be there.”
“Melissa is an excellent therapist. My son has Aspbergers, and we have seen numerous professionals in 27 years. She has been the most helpful by far of all of these professionals. She is quick to respond to emails, has a caring heart and very resourceful. She was an instrumental part in helping us apply for SSI/Disability.”
