“I love this place! I started out at Beyond Birth thru a treatment center I resided at (2018) Beyond Birth eventually merged into the "SMART" clinic. I didn't like it at first but the best part was getting to keep my provider and staying in the program I was already in. I must not have any complaints; it's been 6yrs n i'm still here even after completing the program. And, I'll stay bc I'll still need the support, accountability, a safe place, resources, etc. WHY? Because I'm not cured and I take my sobriety very serious. If u go to a clinic/treatment and shIt ain't goin ur way, It's prob not the clinics fault sis, U just ain't ready.”

“I wanted to make an appointment to start screening for ADHD and dyslexia, and I've been on the wait list for months now. After talking to them again as of Mar. 24, 2026, I was told that I would need to wait 2 YEARS! Apparently, this office has just ONE (SINGULAR) psychiatrist going through the patients one by one. Little wonder nobody can get an appointment. I don't envy that doctor in the least, and shame on UK for not expanding the amount of doctors in their own facilities.”

“Went to the student behavioral health clinic to continue treatment for my adhd, as my insurance no longer covers my current psychiatrist. They told me they wouldn't prescribe me my already prescribed medicine if I didn't take a QT test to prove my diagnosis, essentially. Long story short, they told me my QT tests were “inconclusive,” so I wouldn’t be able to seek treatment for my already diagnosed ADHD if I didn’t get a complete psych evaluation (which can take a year in advance). Long story short: don’t waste your time. Some of the staff were nice, but deciding whether or not to treat patients solely based on one diagnostic test (with multiple studies' discrediting this test due to gender bias, and stating it should not be used as a standalone to determine adhd) is negligible on their part & needs to be fixed. They did had me answer an adhd questionnaire, but this was not included in their “inconclusive” determination of my adhd, and they used solely the QT test to determine my eligibility for treatment here 🙃.”

“This facility is a waste of time and money. Their availability is low--expect to wait months for treatment--and their services aren't worth it. I attended multiple appointment over six months and underwent multiple tests, all for the benefit of a student. The doctor popped in few times at the end of my appointments as a mere formality and added nothing. The final straw for me was a miscommunication and rude secretary. I attended an appointment (phone call) to reup my medicine (that they told me I needed to take regularly). Later, I called in after not receiving my renewal. The rude secretary demanded I attend a second appointment before they would reup. This isn't what the student told me would happen. The secretary didn't care. After 6 months of waiting and attending appointments, I had nothing to show for it. Do not waste your time or money here.”
