“Unfortunately not helpful to me personally. I was recommended this place by 988 due to homicidal thoughts. These thoughts were directly linked to childhood sexual abuse. The problem is that this place only has support groups for females survivors but not male survivors. This recovery center tried to help by finding someone to lead the classes, but they never came. The outcome is that this has been almost useless to me personally. However, it probably would be helpful for the right people such as the homeless woman who was sleeping in the snow and needed immediate help. At least she got help at this place.”

“This is an amazing place, full of amazing people that just want to give back to the community and help their fellow peers to succeed. In and out of what it is in life that they want. They are dedicated hard-working and know what it is like. To live with mental health conditions and substance use disorders. They are living testimonies that recovery is possible! All you have to do is be open-minded and willing help is normally one word away. That word is simply help.”
