How likely are you to recommend Southern Indiana Mental Health Center?
What patients say on Google
“Would leave zero stars if possible! They don't listen to patient's and when they do its to twist their entire life history so that it fits whatever fraudulent narrative they want in order to cause medical PTSD. They caused countless patients more harm than good forcing unnecessary forced psych holds which just makes them feel helpless, hopeless and many, like myself, stopped treatment upon release and gave up ever finding help. Any future patients need to follow the advice I was given and record every session for your own safety! Especially if you see both Christy/Madisen because Christy knows Madisen will lie to back her up. There's so many reviews here saying the same thing. Also, dont let them force the useless genesight test on you, because it only let's you know what meds your liver can handle and nothing more. They'll lie and say it will let them know which meds are least likely to react badly for you, nope it just buys them a month of ignoring you. Seymour police will unlawfully detained you until a judge signs a court order for psych evaluation and legally cannot hold you more than 45 minutes, but they held many for HOURS. If you've been through similar i suggest legal representation for the unlawful detainment and malpractice via fraud.”
“As an ex patient here, I can now confidently say that Madison broke HIPAA so many times. I feared that if I spoke up, she would try to get me sent back to the hospital. Not only was she pushy, but she made me and multiple other patients that I know uncomfortable. She continued to tell my parents everything I said during these sessions, even when they didn't involve me being unsafe. She would kick me out of the room and speak to them, even after I told her multiple times that if it regarded my care, I had a right to know what was being said. Not only is she completely unprofessional, but the receptionist was absolutely terrible. Not once did I feel safe or comfortable talking to Madison. If you are wanting your child to get better, if you are wanting your child to get help, don't go here. Find somewhere that the actual patients can vouch for, not the parents.”
“The first visit was long, but went okay, and the nurse practitioner seemed nice, however with each new visit, I felt as though, I was not being treated as well, and the last visit, I felt like crying as I was leaving. I have severe anxiety disorder along with other disorders, and one of my medicines needs to be called in by a NP, or doctor with a special license. I am unable to get medicaid, so I was self-pay, which is not cheap. She wanted to see me every 6 weeks, but being poor, this was very expensive for me. At around my fourth visit, the NP stated that if I didn't have a urine screen by the next appointment, that I wouldn't get my one medicine. This was fine, but as a self-pay, this was WAY too expensive for me (around 300 dollars) plus, I am terrified of huge places like hospitals. I had a drug screen at another doctor's office, recently, and asked her (the NP via the office staff) if they could use that urine sample, and she said, "No. It has to be within a week of the appointment", which I found to be quite unreasonable- this one was in July. So now, I can't afford another urine screen plus her fees, so now I am unable to get my anti-anxiety medicine! I told the office lady that I was very scared and she said that they were busy - that's it - that's all that was said! Because of lack of money, I can no longer be seen here. I would recommend a different place.”
“The providers were always great and have helped me immensely. The only issue I've had is getting meds refilled, sometimes going weeks without them because paperwork doesn't get sent to my insurance. Have no issues with my other providers with meds.”
