What patients say on Google
“Angie at the front desk was super welcoming when I checked in for my appointment for medical. She was really kind and very knowledgeable about health insurance and was able to help me understand my benefits and coverage. Angie also took the time to educate me about the sliding fee scale and encouraged me to apply for it even if I have health insurance. I told her that I don’t have a dental insurance plan but I would like to get an appointment for dental but I was hesitant about the cost. Once Angie thoroughly explained and answered my questions about the sliding fee scale and how it works for dental I felt comfortable and confident about making a dental appointment. I let her know that I would give a call to make a dental appointment for myself and children. Apart from this positive experience I also got to see how helpful Angie was at making my next appointment and let me know to give the clinic a call no matter what is going on. I am so thankful for the positive experience at the clinic. I highly recommend going if you are looking for a new healthcare provider with the most amazing, knowledgeable and experienced receptionist. As having a positive experience with the receptionist can make a difference in your healthcare along with the most experienced healthcare professionals that IHC has to offer.”
“Dr Karnak and her staff are super friendly, patient and understanding. Also very down to earth. You can speak with them and be honest like friends and they do not pass judgement. Sliding scale services available based on income. I've only had to wait one time due to a patient emergency in the whole 2 years I've been there. She's always on time or early. But very thorough and you are given quality care and Dr. K. Always listens and she genuinely cares. Her and her nurse have great repor and work together very nicely and both are prompt on rx refills, labs, appt scheduling etc....”
“The experience greatly differs depending on who you are seeing. Dr Simmons and the dental staff are great! I've had Dr Simmons take care of my dental work (after not going to a dentist in a very long time. He takes the time to make sure his patients are comfortable. Erin Daniel and her staff are great. She doesn't rush through the appointments and will listen to any concerns you have. Her staff will return phone calls and will call if there are problems with lab results. The mental health services seem to be lacking. I keep being a medication that causes me to have anxiety. My concerns are simply ignored. I've called and left messages about meds that made symptoms much worse, but I never get a call back.ive also been told that if I want to talk about the medications and side affects, I have to schedule an appointment with a therapist because they have time and the provider only has 15 minutes. From my experience, it feels like the mental health team doesn't care. If I could rate the different services separately, would be beneficial. Dental would be 5/5. Primary care, 5/5. Mental health, 1/5.”
“Dr. Simmons takes time to talk to people and says he is proud of his patients when they do a good job. He will have fun together with patients. This the first dentist team that loves being friends with everyone the way they do. Going to the dentist here feels like going to see a group of friends. I want him to be my dentist forever.”
