What patients say on Google

“DO NOT SEND ANYONE HERE. My mom was there for one week and was sent to the er from there one night with a body temp of 86° and in septic shock because they didn’t give her the proper medication nor called us about her state. She was lifeflighted to the Wexner center and is now on a ventilator and has multiple organs failing. Seriously looking into taking legal action after talking to an attorney today.”

“I am still at a loss for words at how horrible this place is. I truly believe they create hell on earth for their patients. My loved one was drastically worse after being admitted because they were repeatedly fed drugs that put them in a psychosis-like state. Thankfully, like others have stated, since we got them out, they are slowly starting to return to normal. I cannot imagine the horror of actually staying in this facility after being inside for a mere 30 minutes. It’s very obvious why they do not let you bring phones inside. Please read these reviews and reconsider letting someone you love enter their doors at all costs. My loved one was not fully bathed and left with a head full of knots. They didn’t know who I was, and were constantly hallucinating. None of these issues were present upon arrival. I’m heartbroken to know they had to endure this. I hope that someone with more time and resources can investigate them and bring more of this to light and help those who are still under their care.”

“I gave them one star because the morning crew is okay. Otherwise they'd get negative. Look at the high star reviews, they all have less than a handful reviews. The problem is the night crew. They are too harsh. My mom was brought here (she was laughing and joking at the hospital) and she ended up worse than when she was admitted (she was dazed & traumatized). She is no longer there and she is getting better. (Edit: Thank GOD she's almost herself. Stay away from this place!) It was annoying trying to get information. Nurses try their best to explain but it's not good enough. Seems that they're just regurgitating nonsense from the doctor. Who doesn't seen that great either. Imo, TERRIBLE. Lastly, this place is extremely depressing to walk into. If you have an option do not bring them here. They are way too harsh and force people to do things that they do not want to do. This is not good especially if the patient is not really that bad. The problem with the medical system is that they don't cure anything. Their biggest things are treatments. Treatments bringing a lot of money. Constant visit to bring in a lot of money.”

“The referral process is a breeze and I am very grateful for that. They really care for their patients in their time of need and are very support of families. They throughly assess the medications that have been prescribed and make adjustments to the best available to help patients experiencing mental health crisis. Thankful for Sojourn and the expertise they provide in the care for patients and families experiencing a tough time.”
