“Silver lining Psychiatry Illegally Discharged My Pregnant Teen Daughter via "Silent Firing" I am writing to warn other vulnerable patients about this practice's unethical and potentially illegal patient abandonment. However, based on the rest of their recent reviews? Patient abandonment appears to be common practice for them. My daughter, a teenage medical patient, was recently "silent fired" from this practice—meaning she was removed from the patient roster without any formal notice, explanation, or discharge letter. The practice later claimed to our insurance that her discharge was due to "no call, no show" appointments. This claim is demonstrably false. We possess comprehensive documentation proving her appointments were proactively rescheduled days, and sometimes weeks, in advance by our family. This discharge occurred while my daughter is recovering from recent traumas (ie.her mother being placed on palliative care, plus her own health issues) and medically vulnerable. At no point did the practice communicate any issues with her attendance, outside of “same day calls are no call, no shows.” nor did they follow the legal and ethical requirement to provide formal written notice of termination of care. This "silent firing" tactic appears to be a deliberate attempt to avoid the legal obligation of a 30-day emergency care period and continuity of care for an at risk and vulnerable patient. Her last few messages to the office were begging them to see her as she’s been struggling with her mental health more with recent life events. This is an inhumane and cowardly way to treat any patient, let alone a chronically ill minor with a dying mother. If you are a patient with a chronic illness or a complicated life, be warned: this practice may abandon you without warning when you are most in need. We are pursuing this with our insurance and the state medical board. I encourage everyone else in these reviews that had a poor experience do the same. This is inexcusable and deplorable behavior from someone who took the Hippocratic oath of “do no harm to the best of my ability”.”

“No exaggeration but this place saved my wife's life. After countless drug combinations with nothing but terrible side effects we decided to look for alternatives and landed on TMS. Can't speak enough on how much that turned her mental health around when she can actually start living her life again. Dr Majeed was friendly and always willing to find time when needed. Aiman was incredibly helpful, always friendly and finding ways to make the process smoother. And Somaya was beyond amazing, she truly made my wife feel at home and comfortable. Every day was like hanging out with a life long friend. She was truly a godsend that I'll always appreciate as long as I live. While the building itself is old and there always seemed to be an issue with the elevator, not to mention the limited handicap spaces, that doesn't take anything away from Silver Lining. If you're struggling with mental health and tired of trying one medication after another give Silver Lining a shot, while TMS doesnt work for everyone its worth a try. And make sure to say hi to Somaya for us.”

“Things started out great when I began seeing Dr. Majeed. He seemed compassionate and understanding. Well that all changed very suddenly. I had broken my phone and was unable to coordinate an appointment for about a month and I had missed an appointment due to being hospitalized. They dropped me from the practice and left me completely abandoned without any warning. Thankfully my PCP took over and began writing my psych meds. Months later I received a call that he wanted to take me back on as a patient and even tho I was upset with how things went before, I still gave him the benefit of the doubt. Things seemed fine my first visit back , but then my second visit is when I noticed he wasn’t really taking me seriously at all when I told him that Cymbalta made me feel worse. I called into the office to refill 2 different meds (1 I been on for well over a year) and I just received a message that this medication was discontinued… One of the very few medications that have worked for me. I was taking this medication twice a day and he just stopped it. Didn’t taper me down or anything. I called into for answers on why he did this and left messages with my concerns. It’s been 2 weeks and I still never got a response. This wasn’t even a forced taper, it was a forced withdrawal which is dangerous and very negligent given my circumstances. For this man to reach out to me months later after abandoning my care just to switch around my regiment that was working JUST FINE, it was super inappropriate, uncalled for, and just set me back. My Urologist asked me to get on something for anxiety because my stress and my body tensing up was making my condition worse. This wasn’t even taken into consideration when this decision was made even after I told him I was just hospitalized for a few days because of it. He should have just left me alone and allowed my PCP to continue prescribing for me until I found a new psychiatrist. I feel betrayed and abandoned by this office at a time I was at my worst! I feel so stupid for going back after how I was left hanging last time. This office doesn’t ever answer the phone or reach back out in a timely manner to address any concerns and it leaves patients who are already struggling mentally in a bad place. Dr. Majeed, if you are reading this… I hope you have the day you deserve!”

“Our family has received nothing but the best care from Dr Majeed and his staff over the past six years. Excellent care for autistic children and neurodivergent adults.”
