What patients say on Google
“Some of the therapists were nice but I feel worse than when I initially came there. There was no real treatment. I only saw a therapist once during my stay. They treat people like crazy criminals. I was placed in the wrong ward upon arrival and had to sleep with one eye open. I admitted myself in and still had to stay longer than 72 hours. There were suicidal people who got to leave before I did. On top of all that, they lost my purse. Would not recommend.”
“First of all there are techs leaving good reviews in these comments. If you’re going to make a fake review at least don’t post a picture of your face, like wow. DO NOT SEND OR LET A HOSPITAL SEND YOUR CHILDREN OR ANYONE HERE. THEY ARE ABUSIVE, THEY WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO GET A FULL NIGHTS SLEEP, THEY SCREAM AT PEOPLE WHO ARE SUFFERING AND THREATEN TO SEND PEOPLE TO HARSHER LEVELS AS PUNISHMENT IF YOU STAND UP FOR YOURSELF OR TALK ABOUT THE ABUSE ON THE PHONE WITH YOUR FAMILY. When I was there a woman actually snatched me out of my bed while I was sleeping because she couldn’t get my gps off my arm. I hadn’t slept in three days at this point because they wake you up every thirty minutes to make sure you’re in your room at night. Btw you cannot go into your rooms at all during the day to nap or anything UNLESS they all decide they want to take a break and then you are locked in your room for however long they want you to be. The “techs” are verbally abusive to the patients and will let certain patients have more freedom if they like them more. They do not separate men from women and the techs were allowing a man who was non verbal and suffering for extreme ptsd break into the rooms with the women with no repercussions. Multiple times women would wake up screaming in the night because he was hovering over them at night and instead the women would be punished for “overreacting” even though it was terrifying. They threaten you for more time if you sleep in the commons even though you’re exhausted because they drug you up but don’t let you sleep. They let a girl pee and poop on herself while the nurses and techs did nothing for hours so much that other patients were cleaning up the pee off the floor. Most of the people were there for suicide attempts or to start their sober journey and they were treated like they were in prison. To be honest I relapsed and attempted suicide again immediately after I was released because I was traumatized so badly of my experience. This place does not help you or your family members. It’s another place full of abusive power tripping adults who like to take their daily frustrations on innocent people who are suffering.”
“Stayed in the legacy unit. Honestly wasn’t bad just had a really bad situation turn into a really bad day. This was back in 2019 the counselor was great the doctor as well. Legacy unit gets to go to brekky first so food was fresh for us. Coffee sucked but not knocking a star for that. Relaxed environment allowed me to come out of the dark and actually get better.”
“If I could give less stars I would. The way they treat the people here is sad. This is not the place to go if your going through a crisis. This place makes you not want to ever seek help. They don't tell you they will lock you up for 72 hours and weekend don't count. They allow the whole facility to run wild. They allow fighting and stealing between the patients. And the punishment is a (needle) filled with god knows what. If your in of need help (mentally) this is not the place. The only good thing I can say was the food was good.... But not great. If your taken here run away fast before they lock the door and throw away the key!!!!!!!!”
