How likely are you to recommend Atlanta Center for Mental Health?
What patients say on Google
“My struggles with my mental health began when I was a child but followed me through the years until I couldn't ignore them anymore. The therapists at Atlanta Center for Mental Health updated my diagnosis and designed an individualized treatment plan that I am still using today. I am working again and present when I am with my kids now. I would not be living this way without the program at ACMH.”
“Sketchy...called for the first time lookin for a psychiatrist to increase my med dosage. They transferred me to some doctor, where they used my insurance for a PHONE CALL as telehealth. The doctor was talking for an hour on convincing me to come stay at the facility. I declined and the doctor then goes into sales tactics to convince me that it's "safe" and it's "fun". I never said it's n😬I'm just not interested. It's like the doctor was forcing there to be something wrong with me so I stay there. To make it worse, after the phone call the doctor called my emergency contact and told all my business of why i was seeking help. Like EVERYTHING...that's so embarrassing like things that I would not want my mother to know or worry about. I didn't say yes to sharing my info or anything...hipaa?? After my mom called "frightened" that something was going on with me, i realized not only that but he made it seem like im going through things way worse than what i spoke about. I called and told him do not call me do not contact me, delete my info etc. He still called the emergency contact the next morning, STILL trying to convince here to send me. 😐clearly this is all insurance fraud and money laundering. Literally charged my insurance for the phone call. No signed paperwork nothing. STAY AWAY THEY MIGHT MAKE YOU MORE CRAZY”
“Incredibly unhelpful and rude front desk. Asked to speak to someonelse or a supervisor regarding a document issue and was told “no” and hung up on”
“When I went to this dual diagnosis program they helped me to learn about the disease of addiction and took me thru trauma therapy which has helped me stay sober ever since. Thank you for the help!”
