What patients say on Google
“Would be lower if I could. Took my kid there and they gave other ways of self harm and didn't want to include us.”
“This place is unfair in their selective criteria at who they help and who they turn away. State funded organizations such as this one should not have the right to say who can be helped and who can be let go based off of individual personal whims. Detox should not disqualify people because they have a clean system and traumatic events are just as important as substance abuse in mental health recovery. This place is very discriminatory in their selection of who gets help. It needs to be defunded!”
“You would think that they work with a lot of folks that have depression and anxiety, so they would do things to help instead of perpetuating the problem, but watching my spouse struggle with them the past few months has really infuriated me. She has had to go over a month without her medicine and everyday I see her struggle a little more with it. They are condescending, they treat her like she is trash when she is there, I’ve personally heard them on the phone while trying to get her medicine they tell her she must make an appointment and can’t do anything till next month, this of course is upsetting so she doesn’t pursue an appointment immediately but calls back after calming down to make said appointment in hopes of getting it taken care of only to be told “they are a walk in only office” (they never have been, she has always needed an appointment when going in) in the most snarky manner I could imagine. Any job I’ve ever had dealing with customers much less patients, i would have been fired on the spot for speaking to someone like that. Just because some has mental health issues that doesn’t mean you can treat them like they are worthless. Especially when you’re only job is to help these people get the therapy or medicine that they need. I would be ashamed of myself to be apart of this office. There are a few helpful ladies here that I feel sorry for having to deal with all that mess on a daily basis.”
“They are providing my family member with the care he needs. He enjoys the Group activities and video group meetings. It is wonderful to watch him come out of his shell. Appointments are prompt and they provide transportation when arraignments are made on your end.”
