How likely are you to recommend Psychology and Counseling Center of Cartersville?
What patients say on Google
“Had my son’s first appointment back in October. I was told I was waiting on insurance to get back with them on a prior authorization to have an autism test done. I have called and have been told multiple times it’s still pending. I took it upon myself to call the insurance company and they never received the prior authorization. I called them right after for them to tell me once again it is pending even after I told them it isn’t pending because insurance has never received it. I then asked for the insurance team of theirs contact information only to be told they work remotely. So I gave them the fax number that the insurance company gave me. This place is not the place to go to have an evaluation for your child. I will be going elsewhere and paying out of pocket to have the care my child needs.”
“Schedule an appointment for my son at the end of February. The appointment was scheduled for 5/08/23 @10. I got an email not even a call the Friday before his appointment on Monday saying he had to be rescheduled with a different doctor as the one he was scheduled with wasn't taking new patients. So we rescheduled him for 5/18/23. I received a call the week before his appointment to say that that doctor couldn't see him asked if I needed to find somewhere else to take him and the rude lady that had called me said probably and hung up on me. I tired to call back with no answer. Very rude and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. They are a big waste of time.”
“I had to reschedule once do to patient confidentiality. At first I was very upset because I had heard wonderful things about Dr. Hill (which I still hear to be true) so the girls up front set me up with a different person. I was VERY pleased with the new therapist they made my appointment with. Dr. Rinks is by far my favorite counselor I have seen in my 7 years of receiving help. The only reason I haven’t been back has been from lack of insurance. I will always recommend this office to anyone in need.”
“The administrative side is horrid. If you need an appointment, they won’t respond to requests for up to 30 days/multiple request attempts. Now I’m being continuously sent bills for an appointment my therapist was a no-show to. I’ve informed staff multiple times and am always told I won’t receive any further communication, only to be sent more bills.”
