What patients say on Google

“Taking Belinda to ECU/OBX Hospital was amazingly bad, given they gave her smaller doses of Keppra that may have caused hallucinations. They also gave her 150mg of her antidepressant. She was getting 225mg from her Sentara doctors. Along with other needed drugs that were too low. They then sent her to Peak Rehab in Nags Head with the same low doses. I thought OBX was bad. Peak Rehab should be shutdown. If I go to see Belinda, I will be arrested. What great medical institutions on the Outer Banks! Try them!!!”

“Great experience! Blood draws are scheduled a week before the clinical visit and lab results usually are available the next day. This gives plenty of time to digest the results and prepare for the in-person clinic visit (and exam). Very efficient check-in process if one takes advantage of the pre-visit online option. Front-office staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Once in the examination room, a thorough review and update of the patient’s medical history and status are conducted by clinical staff. The medical exam was conducted by a Family Nurse Practioner (FNP). Lots of conversation during and after the exam pertaining to what was being investigated and what observations were made. My questions were fully addressed, explanations easy to understand, and good advice on best health practices were dispensed. Well done.”

“I never thought I’d get such expert care when I moved to OBX. Kelsey Booth, NP is fabulous provider, very intelligent and a great communicator who actually listens to her patients. What an asset to this community she is. I feel very confident in her care. BTW, I’m a nurse. My husband is also her patient and he’s a retired nephrologist! He is very impressed as well.”

“My visit to ECU health was for an annual physical and to have my annual bloodwork completed. Dr. Lancsek was very thorough and reviewing my history, was very professional, yet approachable about my medical history and current medication’s and treatments I am receiving. I was very impressed and cannot say enough about the staff and the doctors there at ECU health.”
