“I must say I was very skeptical with this place in the beginning . Being so far from Louisville. I have never been away from my son longer than a week since I got custody of him. I went ahead and gave this place a shot. Even tho this place was the first time that had strict rules and wouldn’t budge. I’m so glad I did because this place saved my son. He has been home 1year 3 months and turned his life and old habits around. He came home never went to school went from (F) grades always trying ti hurt himself to (AB). Just a totally didn’t kid. Thanks to the staff and to Mr Q, and therapist named Autumn. Hands down the best staff ever. My son also was hospitalized 13 or more times in the past 9 years. He will be 14 this year, I will MOST definitely use this place again if needed. Parents give it a shot if it’s offered. They do so much for the kids. Many activities that they can do but they must earn them. CHNK will forever be my hero Thank you to all the staf from my family. Michael Bowman”

CHNK has a wonderful clinical team of medical staff, therapists, cottage staff and community volunteers who truly care in the wellbeing of the children. CHNK is also located on the top of a beautiful park with walking trails and beautiful nature surrounding. There is also a garden that the children can spend time working in. Staff is trained and required to update training regularly to ensure that clients receive the best care one could possibly receive while at a Residential Facility.
