How likely are you to recommend Oconee Center for Behavioral Health?
What patients say on Google
“Andrew has been a lifesaver for my teenage son. He not only counsels him but encourages and is like a life coach to him. He has become a more calm and pleasant person who doesn’t want to hurt himself anymore.”
“OCBH brought me on with a doctor that was not covered by insurance, and despite my hesitancy, they insisting that the doctor would be in network within two months at the longest. 6 months later, this doctor was still not in network and they quit. I spent half a year paying for my insurance and exorbitant prices for out of pocket sessions. They then replaced this doctor with another person who was not in any insurance network, and wanted me to pay not only out of pocket but another intake fee to start with a new physician insisting (read: lying) that again they would be in network within two months. Now I have pointlessly drained finances and no doctor thanks to their dishonesty. They are very misleading in order to try and gain and retain patients and I would never recommend this place.”
“This place is a joke. My son was misdiagnosed and given a medicine that was never supposed to be given to someone under the age of 18. When we started seeing a real Psychiatrist they were outraged. My wife was also seeing PA (not doctor) Boyd and was put on medication. She called in the day of the appointment because she was sick with the flu and was told we would be charged $100.00 for a no show. Can you believe they want people in there with the flu!?!? I called again today and was told very rudely by the office manager that the fee would not be removed and she refused to take my number so the PA could call me back. She is low on her medication that when off of it can cause MAJOR issues. If something does happen I personally will be suing this practice and making sure it no longer exists. Please avoid this place like the plague. UPDATE: they called my wife back and said that they will no longer take her back because of how I was over the phone. This shows how they are. They do not care about their patients, the only care about the money. Again avoid this place. Especially with kids.”
“I have been seeing Andy for a few years now and he has been a life saver honestly, he never makes me feel like I'm being judged or like my struggles are ridiculous. I recommend this office to anyone who is in need!”
