What patients say on Google
“This was my first time here since I recently moved to the area with my boys (5y and 7y) and I was so surprised at how wonderful the staff here is! From the front desk to the nurse/doctors, my boys and I were treated with such kindness and professionalism. My 7 y/o even asked to come back here if he needs to have any shots in the future, and he said “the people here are very kind”. Taking our children to the doctor can be such a stressful experience, but everyone at DPH made our day great and I will absolutely be coming back. Thank you to everyone who helped us today!! You guys are the best!”
“I recently visited their facility at Richardson building on 440 Winn way for vaccination. I was told I can not get the shingles vaccination due to my age 37, even though I have an autoimmune disease. And the CDC says it’s ok for 19 and over to get it. They refuse to give me the shingles. They also told me they didn't have a pneumoniacoccal vaccination. When I question about it, then they said they have the expensive kind. After paying for my pneumonia vaccination, I was told to wait for more than a decade for my second vaccination. The nurses here, are giving me misinformation that they look up on google. Have your nurses follow the guidelines and protocol. Stop your nurses from doing online research that misleads people.”
“I will say the front office staff is a little unorganized & people do have their kids everywhere, but of course that's out of the facility's control and more in the parents. Aside from that, Nurse Emily was amazing!! I came in for a follow up for a skin test that was taken a few days ago. I have to get a lot of blood work for nursing school. She not only checked to make sure I got all the needed shots, she helped me with any first day concerns I had. She spoke so much life into me and uplifted me. I really appreciate her because nursing school is alot and I was starting to get discouraged. After my visit today, I not only got medical records for school, I got also got the motivation to keep pushing through. So Thank You Nurse Emily!!”
“I was extremely disappointed with my experience here. I called to book travel vaccines for my littles and was able to get an appointment today. I asked if there was a confirmation email/text and was told “you should probably save the appointment in your phone” which was condescending and not why I was asking. Today I get there for my appointment, and the nurse/doctor wasn’t there. She’d left unexpectedly, and the front desk wasn’t even aware. The receptionist was very nice and helpful where she could be, I should have gotten her name. I had to wait thirty minutes for a response from the care provider to reschedule the appointment. I was so upset that I didn’t rebook— taking three hours off from work and navigating the office with two toddlers isn’t something I’d risk having to do again to be disregarded in that way.”
