What patients say on Google

“Alex and her team is very unprofessional and unreliable. I called the new vista office building 5 on April 30th inquiring about services for my child for at school. Was told walk ins are welcomed to come in Monday before 3. Monday May 4 I drove over to be told I need to make an appointment. Okay…so the earliest appointment for this service for my child was Monday May 11. A week later. So yesterday me and my child go over there and Alex apparently called in sick. They said your appointment was cancelled this morning. I said okay who called me to notify me of that. The other woman said oh they cancelled it a week ago. I asked so she knew she would be sick a week ago? I said I week ago I was in here making the appointment. Again no one called me to let me know about this. Neither of the ladies could tell me anything because nothing was done. I asked if she could see someone else to get the ball rolling as it was reconmended she get therapy two weeks ago for her cutting. They said no. I feel as if new vista is not taking accountability for their mistakes. I also feel as if my child’s care is not being a priority and that they do not consider the patient at all. I feel as if new vista and the staff has neglected my child and the needs. A phone call would have been nice. I told the staff to have Alex call me when she decides to return so we can see when my child may be seen. No phone call yet. I’ve also called in to the complaint line. Have yet to hear back from that dept either. New vista at building 5 on newtown pike neglects patients. Beware.”

“I had outpatient services and felt like they actually listened to what I needed. It was a little difficult navigating the place but the front desk staff were always kind and the types of therapy they offer are not so easily accessed elsewhere. ART was especially helpful with careful consideration given by the therapist each visit.”

“After a long and exhausting intake process I was assured that I would get taken care of, that they would set up meds management as well as psychiatric support and a PTSD diagnosis, on top of regular therapy. I was told I couldn’t use the person who did my intake and had to use another therapist, but for the 4 week long wait between then they would call me and update me on information about a psychiatrist, meds and that someone would give me a 10 minute check in weekly. None of that happened, I was ignored and of the four times I called New Vista to see what was happening, only the fourth time was there anyone available to take my call. It is cruel to give someone hope only for there to be no help or even updates to explain why nothing they promised was delivered. I cannot express enough how disgusting it is as a healthcare facility to ignore and dismiss your patients who are in mental crisis.”

“I have seen Dr Teresa Oropellia-Keifer for 27 years starting with she Started when it was called Comprehensive Care and She is The Best Psychiatrist Ever.”
