What patients say on Google
“I have been connected with this practice for years. Dr. Kant is an excellent and knowledgeable physician. He is kind and caring. I have never had to question his treatment plan. I trust him, and I don't trust easily. The staff also is kind, pleasant and helpful at all times. Good mental health is so important. Thank you so much.”
“Dr. Kant is a wonderful, caring doctor with just the right amount of humor. Always puts me at ease! Let's face it, I wouldn't be going there if I didn't have problems...anxiety being just one, so being able to put me at ease is quite a feat indeed. He doesn't over medicate me. He's been my psychiatrist since February 2007...so grateful I found him when I did!”
“I came from another psychiatrist who had been treating me for Major Depressive Dosorder for over a decade. I was on 60mg Prozac. Kant's office misdiagnosed me as bipolar 2 after one of the docs in his practice did one 55-minute ontake. I never saw her again. They put me on Lamictal immediately. When I met with Dr. Kant shortly after, I told him I didn’t think I had BP2 or needed the Lamictal. He threatened to call my husband. Out of fear, I stayed on the meds, which caused me to experience hypomania, for which they gave me more Lamictal (I was on 300 mg at that point) Then added Abilify, which gave me Akinisia. After I found out his office was billing $250 for a 10-minute phone call appointment ($1,000 an hour), I went elsewhere. I finally reverse-titrated all the meds and feel great. No Bipolar in sight. No meds at all now. Buyer beware!! He may misdaigose, drug you up, and take your money.”
“I’ve been with this practice for years now and I cannot thank them enough for the 5 star treatment I received. Jess, in particular, is the best thing that’s ever happened to me in my life journey. She has taught me how to use several skills in order to live each day to the fullest. Without her skill set I would not be the person I am today. Thank you, Mama Jess!!”
