What patients say on Google

“What a wonderful and uplifting experience. I’ve been through the wringer previously and was anxious about this appointment. I felt comfortable with Candace and I felt she was highly knowledgeable. She also took a good amount of time with me and that I was very thankful for. I’m a 40 year frequent flyer so I’ve had considerable amount of experience with mental health professionals. I felt so much better after that appointment.”

“Dr. Sumbatian has been an incredible doctor for our family. She is compassionate, patient, and truly takes the time to listen. As a parent of a child with special needs, having a physician who genuinely cares and works with you as a team truly makes a difference. Her office staff is also wonderful. They are kind, professional, and always helpful. It's clear that everyone in the office truly cares about their patients. We're so grateful for Dr. Sumbatian and her team and highly recommend them to any family looking for a caring, knowledgeable physician.”

“Since returning from deployment. Adjustment has been a rocky and I have decided to find some help with things after ignoring them for years, finding ways to cope. Coming here I was paired with Peggy. She has been absolutely amazing. I’ve only had a few appointments. She has listens, has been calm and professional, no judgements. I look forward to continuing our sessions and working on things. I have been doing so much better. I feel like I’m in good hands. Thank you!”

“Edit- watch your bills. They will bill you at the specialty copay rate when mental health care is supposed to be the primary care copay rate. The good- front desk staff and Krista are awesome at what they do. I've had some provider issues, and it was easy to work with them to get the issues resolved. Krista is easy to talk to, and has a good grasp on what I need as a patient. The bad- Peggy was not a good fit for me at all. While it was easy to change my provider to Krista, there were some things written in my file that don't apply, and assumptions were made. Peggy didn't know what Tricare is, and also didn't seem super adept at what I needed for a PA for my medication. If you're military, a 1st responder, or adjacent with that same sense of dark humor, I'd not see Peggy because you may get sent on an unneeded grippy sock vacay when she didn't get a joke. Karen for talk therapy is fine if you want someone who will tell you that you don't know your beliefs because they're subconscious, and that if you think good thoughts enough, and change those subconscious beliefs, you can even override your DNA. She also showed me books full of pseudoscience, and claimed we've been lied to about vaccines. If you're in agreement with all these things, she's the talk therapist for you. Otherwise, buyer beware.”
