How likely are you to recommend Legacy Behavioral Health Crisis Center?
“Honestly, wish I could leave zero stars. Went there on a voluntary basis, was placed on the observation unit for 3 days, was told I was gonna leave at a certain time , left hours later. Staff is very rude and laughs at patients when they have a problem with their care their receiving , nurse Brandy was the only one who was kind and understanding towards me. Then they did not send my meds to the pharmacy like they were supposed to do so I have no meds now. Waste of time if your local to Valdosta go to Greenleaf instead.”
“My AS went to this facility for detox and to get into inpatient treatment. He has raved about the staff and how nice they are. However, the communication that I have had on behalf of my son and at his request has been very supar. While I understand the facility is for patient treatment, family involvement is crucial to recovery as well. Family support is very important for an addicts recovery. I have had contact with the discharge planner who assured me she would notify me at least 2 days in advance of my son's transfer with a list of items he would need at the treatment facility and she would also arrange a family meeting. My son is being transferred today and I have yet to hear from her. This is totally unprofessional. If an employee of this facility assures someone of something they should do it. Also, my son spoke with the director of the facility yesterday to request a family meeting as he has been there 16 days and all others being transferred today have been there a shorter period of time and have had family meetings. My son called me last night and said if I could be at the facility by 7:30 this morning the director assured him we would get a family meeting. This call came as I was driving home from taking his items I could best determine he would need at the new facility. I live 1 hour 15 minutes away. I got up at 5:30 am and ddrove the 1 hour 15 minute drive for our family meeting only yo be turned away because SOMEONE failed to note there was to be one. I am very frustrated by the lack of communication within and from this facility. I have to say, my son says everyone at the facility with the exception of one charge nurse who hss perceived as unpproachable and has never even spoke to him are WINDERFUL; however, he feels as do I that the family communication has been very poor. I hace requested a calk fromthe directorto discuss this.....Let's see if I ever get that call”
“This is the second crisis center I have been to in the last three months for extreme depression. I will say for a Crisis center this place is like a 5 star resort. The staff is amazing. They actually care. They actually have counseling, therapy, groups, a Crisis team amd a Nurse Practioner that you see every day you are there. My only complain is that it took the center 3 days to finally give me antidepressants even after I was asking about it for 3 days several times a day as I was on anti depressants before I was admitted.”
“My experience at Legacy Behavioral Health Service has been great to me and more. Staffs are very nice to me as well as the therapists there who are helpful with people's mental and physical problems.”
