How likely are you to recommend Ivydale Wellness Center, LLC?
What patients say on Google
“Be super careful of this psychiatrist. Only had two meetings with them. They wanted to up my dose from 100 mg to 200 mg in a day. You cannot up your dose that much too fast or you could get a dangerous fatal rash. When I said I’m not comfortable doing that, she said, “if you’re not going to trust me, this isn’t going to work between us,” and I told her I don’t trust her because that drug needs to be taken seriously. She slapped some extreme mental illness diagnosis on my record after that which I’ve never been diagnosed with before so it seemed to be out of spite. Seems like they just throw around drugs and diagnosis recklessly.”
“They actually care about you. I’m bad about calling my meds in the last minute and they will go out their way (even after hours) to make sure I get my rx called in and that I’m ok. Good people.”
“Incredibly unprofessional service. I was not made aware of the fact that I’d have to come in-person for a monthly UDS test and have to pay for it every month, and they were not accommodating when I mentioned that I live far away and coming in-person every month is not practical. I’ve had to go two months without medication because of that, and when I did come in to take the UDS there was no one in the clinic during their in-person business hours. I was told to come back in another two weeks on a specific day that doesn't work for me, and was hung up on several times. For a test that takes 2 minutes, I didn't realize I’d have to go through this much trouble just to pee in a cup and get my prescription refilled. The doctors have been great, but the staff and practice not so much. I will be looking to switch to another psychiatrist soon.”
“If I could leave 0 stars I would. The psychiatrist is supposed to be holistic in treatments but with my daughters first visit, she put her on two different medications. She did not explain what they were for, just stated that they would help my daughter in her everyday life. Once my daughter started experiencing things she never felt before and we had to take her to the ER, the psychiatrist was very non-caring and stated that the medications had nothing to do with the symptoms my daughter was feeling. After researching and understanding, we saw that it was a direct link to the medication. We asked how we could wean her off of these medications and it's almost like she's trying to keep her on them. We cut dosages with the approval of this psychiatrist, and the pharmacy can't even get in touch with her, they showed evidence that they had been trying to reach the office for days- almost a week. She did not express to us, the parents, the disorder that my daughter may have had, the only way we figured out was by finding a counselor and her explaining the reason people are put on the medication that this psychiatrist put my daughter on. After a few sessions, the therapist doesn't even think that the diagnosis from the psychiatrist is accurate. We try to contact her, she doesn't answer. We are done paying for these expensive visits and are given no results or even care. The least she could have done, and I mean at the very least she could have done was make my daughter feel like a human and not a check. We do NOT recommend this office or this psychiatrist to anyone! The receptionists are just as bad as they don't deliver messages in emergency situations or try at all to get the psychiatrist on the phone. Do NOT go here if you need real healing, you will just be a number!!”
