“My wife and I used to see Melinda Fraziee at another facility and my wife really liked her. So when she wanted to go to therapy again, she came to Illume to see her. My wife was willing to pay 320 dollars a month to see her, and we both are on a fixed income. First some background... My wife has been dealing nuero issues for the last 3 years. She repeatedly when to neurologist and they told her everything was fine. Back in November she went to the emergency room for a thunderclap headache. Then she made an appointment with her neurologist. On 2/21 (just last month) she went to get a MRA (similar to a MRI but more indepth) on the way home they called my wife and told her to go to the emergency room immediately. After she got looked by the doctor, the doctor said they were going to transfer her to a nuero hospital. The next day the doctors told her she had to get an emergency craniotomy because she had a 50/50 chance of living (if you don't know what a craniotomy is, it's where they remove a piece of the skull and remove something from the brain, then replace the skull with titanium plates, then stitch up the scalp). She got the surgery the next day and had to stay in the hospital for a week. During her week stay at the hospital she tried to reach Melinda. The only response she received is "hope you have a speedy recovery" and then Melinda archived the message tread, so my wife could not message her back. Also the office receptionist called my wife while she was laying in a hospital bed, two days after surgery, and asked if she wanted to come see Melinda in person the next week? I don't feel like that is very empathetic to ask someone who just received a craniotomy two days ago, to come in person one week after the got a craniotomy. Then they asked her two more times if she wanted to come in person the first week she was home. I do not understand why a therapist would ask someone to leave their bed and sit in a bright, uncomfortable room, right after a craniotomy? Therapist are supposed to show compassion and empathy (or at least sympathy) to their patients. My wife is not comfortable to see Melinda now, and has known Melinda for 5 years and never thought she would be treated like this by her. My wife is autistic and has several mental health disorders. She needed her therapist really bad because she was going through something very traumatic and she felt like Melinda just blew her off and didn't care. Also during the first week my wife was home, I called Illume several times to talk about this with them, and I never received a call back. My wife is very upset about all of this and wanted to leave a review. A therapist at that office went in Google reviews and had them take it down. Then proceeded to pretend he is a patient, and left a five star review. The 5 star review on Google for Illume is written by a therapist, you can look him up on Facebook. This office just opened this week and they are already treating their patients this way. I don't know any of the other therapists there, but I would not recommend seeing Melinda Fraziee.”
“Illume is fantastic and I recommend everyone check them out. They are so helpful and I am SOO glad they are here.”
