What patients say on Google
“Horrible patient care. Was referred by their psychiatrist Julia Brown to see talk therapist. Called to set up an appointment and because of my Medicaid insurance, I was told there was a wait list and someone would be in contact. Almost 2 weeks goes by, and no word. I follow up and I offer to pay out of pocket if the insurance is the issue, we just need to be seen at this point. Then they were able to get me to intake , where then I was told because of Medicaid I could not pay out of pocket. So I can’t see a therapist because I have Medicaid, and I also cannot pay to see a therapist, because I have Medicaid. I guess this place cares WAY More about money and insurance type than actually attending to the mental health and urgency of their patients. DO NOT GO HERE unless you’re seeing a psychiatrist and being prescribed medicine . We all know why that gets an appointment so quick. $$”
“My initial experience was horrible. It took 3 months to get a call back when I finally called and complained. I then received an appointment with NP Theresa Klly and she has treated me wonderfully. Being a vet and experiencing VA mental health care I am so grateful for Ms. Kelly. She is helping me save my life. The billing department was a mess and I stay on top of it. Good suggestion. Do not rely on their billing department at all.”
“I'm a little torn on how to review this place. Kassandra White, my med manager, has been outstanding. 5 stars for her. I'd also give whoever responds to refill emails 5 stars. Always immediately responsive and very kind. However, the owner seems like he should have gone into a different field. $75 for a missed appointment right off the bat for people who are suffering from mental illness seems ridiculous. He should incorporate at BARE MINIMUM a one-time grace per year for patients. This is coming from someone who never misses an appointment and overcompensates for ADHD by being too early. My former therapist was absolutely awful. Fortunately she is no longer with the company. The fact I wasted over a grand seeing her sucks, but I admit I gave her more of a chance than I should have. The fact she was ever employed there to begin with makes me feel like they don't really look into who they are hiring. They just throw a bunch of people at the wall and see who sticks. I also felt like the in-person front-end team was a bit stand-offish. I've only been to the office twice, but both times, I felt unwelcome. Hard to judge them on two times, but it wasn't busy at all during either visit, so it's not like they were busy. Regardless of my complaints, I'm going to give therapy here another shot, and will continue to see Kassandra.”
“I was there for 2 visits and had one telehealth appointment. The 2 visits in-house was 2 hours of filling out forms. That's not what I was told by the gal that made the appointment at the desk and that's not what I was prepared for... it did not go well. I told the gentleman that did the intake that I had been abused by male. Therapist, and that my daughter had died of domestic violence, he didn't remember either of those things. CPTSD and child loss are cruel roommates.”
