“I was referred to this place by my primary care provider. I received a text message stating that they would contact me when a counselor becomes available. I have been waiting and still haven’t heard from them so I called my primary care to have my referral change to another practice.”

“I cannot recommend Firm Foundations for anyone seeking a truly supportive or professional counseling environment. My experience here left me feeling that this is a business prioritized by profit rather than the genuine well-being of its clients. While the counseling itself felt pleasant enough, it lacked the clinical strategy and professional depth I expected. However, the most disappointing aspect was the administrative side. When professional hurdles arose, management was dismissive and unhelpful. Rather than offering guidance or a collaborative solution, their approach felt defensive and confrontational. In a field that is supposed to be rooted in empathy and support, this office is missing the "heart" of its mission. They are very efficient at collecting fees, but they lack the professional compassion required to support someone in need. If you are looking for a practice that treats you as a human being rather than a number, I suggest looking elsewhere. With all that being said, I would like to note that I did take responsibility and apologized for my reaction to an insurance issue via email and never received a response; just a letter in the mail to collect.”

She then ghosted both of us for two weeks and only then sent an email refusing to work with us. She is extremely unprofessional; this would be a zero star review if it was possible. If you are looking for a marriage and family therapist/counselor please stay away from Firm Foundations as their foundation is anything but firm.”
