“I previously would’ve given this facility five stars however in the past couple years there seems to be a lot of transition in medical staff. You will not have a consistent provider for it is a revolving door. Recently I’ve experienced huge issues getting my prescriptions refilled with the absence of a provider, I saw Lisa in Penn Yan & somebody by the name of Ellen Hey was in charge of my providers patients. Well., at least I was assigned to her. THIS PROVIDER NEVER took care of my prescriptions and after 11 days business days of them, sitting in her bucket They were never filled to me. I don’t know how somebody can have complete negligence on a patient. I also believe that this person, Ellen. Is the leader of the facilities- Possibly the managing doctor . Unfortunately Ellen was not concerned about me or any other patients she inherited for that matter that I was forced out to find a new provider. I found that I was dismissed, invaluable and just treated with a complete lack of empathy and since have a provider with URMC. I would avoid this facility for if the providers leave within a year or so clearly they’re not be treated with respect therefore they are NOT going to respect the patient.”

“Had an appointment scheduled for this coming Friday, and received an email to remind me of the appointment and to also remind me to complete pre-appointment questions. I went to the portal to log in, and my account had been deleted. I called the office, and it was like I never existed in their records. The receptionist did find the appointment in the system, and someone at their end canceled it and deleted me. Seriously, WTH???? Maybe I should report them to the state, what they did was just plain WRONG! Seems like healthcare in the Rochester and Finger Lakes region is a total joke.”

“Over all a good practice. There was bumps transitioning from old doctor's office to new but once they get things smoothed out, it's a far better place to go. They do NOT push meds that you do not need, do take extra time to sit and talk with you. Nurses and PA are very good.”

“Showed up to my port Byron appointment 5 mins late due to construction. I called and spoke to Franchesca while driving and they relayed a message to the office bc no one answered the phone in port Byron. I asked if I should turn around they said no it's not a big deal and 7 min late rule only applies to medical ( i was 5 min late). They said I'd have to reschedule or wait two hours for next appointment because the next two appointments were already here. I took work off to attend this and drove 40 minutes so I wasn't happy. I rescheduled and after leaving called and spoke to someone higher up who said port byrons next appointment didn't even start for 45 mins and they shouldn't have turned me away. They also tried marking me as a no show. Port Byron woman didn't care whatsoever and said it's a protocol they follow. Not impressed, I've gone to sodus community health for years and never had an issue. Wont be returning to that office. Now I'm out of both money for the day and a dental cleaning.”
