How likely are you to recommend Family Guidance Center for Behavioral Healthcare?
What patients say on Google
“My daughter is 17 and needed me to sign paperwork before her appointment next week. We arrived at 8am and was told that something needed to be typed up for us to sign and that there were 2 people ahead of us. After waiting almost an hour, the 2 people ahead of us were STILL waiting while the employees spent that hour chatting and eating a bowl of food. Why be open for business if no business is being conducted? I understand why so many people dont get help. They tell you to come at a certain time then make you wait in the lobby for 2-3hours .”
“They make it impossible to get a hold of anyone or get a reply back. They mess up prescriptions going on two weeks without and I can barely get a hold of anyone. They cancel my appointments all the time psychiatrist is great but you have to deal with all the other crap to finally get to her.”
“I have no idea what is wrong with these people, somehow they manage to act so kind while trying to ruin your life as fast as they can. I tried to get recommendations for therapy, and despite my spoken words they somehow managed to misunderstand what I was saying. They made appointments with my primary care doctor WITHOUT my consent, and then when I complained about that, they somehow took it to mean that I didn't want to see my PC doc anymore?? These people only want one of two things: to either send you to inpatient at mosaic or to send you to the lilac center for dbt (8 hours a day 5 days a week might I add). These people are honestly terrible and a waste of time, they also can't take no for an answer, so I had to threaten litigation to get them to leave me alone. Just another business in St. Joe that tries their hardest to scam everyone. Mentally ill people in this town deserve better than this”
“My son had an appointment with Raven. When he made this appointment over the phone WITH Raven, he explained that he needed his meds refilled. He didnt request ANY other services. He was told that he could either go to the urgent care that day to get meds, or wait until his appointment the following Monday with her to get his prescriptions. We waited until his appointment. He gets there and is told that they don't do prescriptions there and that he would need to instead go to urgent care for his meds if he wasn't willing to pay her to help him find a job/housing (he does not need help with either). RAVEN intentionally LIED about her intentions with my child and that appointment just so she could make more money off of him coming in to her office and charging his insurance KNOWING she wasn't going to help him. If his insurance is billed for today's visit, I will fight it because he was not provided a service and was not helped in any way, shape, or form and Raven is not deserving of pay she didnt earn.”
