How likely are you to recommend DPS Health & Wellness?
“I cannot say enough good things about this office. Our provider is Malinda NP and she is phenominal with tons of knowledge. Tiffany in the office helps me every single month due to pharmacy issues. This entire practice is so professional and caring. And our girl is thriving again with some assistance and understanding from Ms Malinda.”
“Have been a great help to our family. Large waiting area and comfortable. Very cute decor. April is so so kind and polite always works hard to schedule accomadating appts and any other things needed.”
“I trusted DPS Health and Wellness during one of the hardest moments of my life after losing my daughter, and instead of receiving compassion, support, or understanding, I left feeling completely dismissed, unheard, and emotionally abandoned. I had a virtual appointment with Shantera Clark on February 24, 2026, because I was struggling mentally and trying to explain what I’ve been dealing with. While expressing my grief and emotions about my daughter passing away, I felt like an insensitive comment was made regarding my daughter. When I tried to explain how it made me feel, instead of listening professionally, I was interrupted, disrespected, and told she “wasn’t about to listen to this” and “didn’t have to listen to this” before hanging up on me during the appointment. Imagine reaching out for mental health help while grieving your child, finally trying to open up, only to be hung up on and ignored. What hurt even more was the lack of follow-up afterward. No one checked on me. No concern for my mental state. Nothing. This was after already dealing with constant issues involving delayed appointments, medication refills, and feeling like my concerns about my medication not working were never taken seriously. Mental health patients deserve patience, empathy, and respect especially people dealing with grief and trauma. Nobody seeking help should be made to feel like a burden for expressing pain. I’m writing this because people need to know my experience before trusting this facility with their mental health care. I stayed quiet for a while because I already struggle opening up to people, but patients have rights too, and our voices deserve to be heard.”
“In my experience with DPS it was a positive one. I especially appreciated Sumer Bernard she was always so friendly and helpful with whatever questions I had getting set up with a therapist for my son. It is nice to find a place that accepts our insurance and to have the convenience of doing virtual sessions.”
