“My granddaughter was in the Atrium hospital for 6 weeks because she tried to take her life. She was then in rehab for 2 week then released and was ordered to go to Daymark in Salisbury for counseling and for med. control. We went for her assessment which they never called to schedule i had to and completed. I was told they would call for her counseling and psychiatrist appointment. After waiting a week no call so I called. The response was they'd have someone to call me back within 24 hours. No call. This went on for 4 weeks with the same response everytime I would call. While waiting, her meds were getting low, which was an issue. Still no calls while I continued to call back asking for help. I finally called Monarch in Albemarle for help and advise. The next morning I was in Monarch office and she was assessed, set up with counselors and psychiatrist for the next week. Staff was awesome. All Daymark did was threw her out to the dogs after getting the treatment and care she needed while in the hospital for weeks. They did nothing to continue her treatment or cared. Monarch is by far the best and cares about their patients. I'll never go back to Daymark or refer them to anyone.”
