How likely are you to recommend Daya Mental Health Psychiatric Medication Management and Therapy I Sublocade I MAT?
What patients say on Google
“I was a client at this practice for a couple of years and, while a couple of the providers were kind, the overall experience was consistently disappointing. The office staff were often curt, slow to respond (sometimes a full week), and difficult to communicate with. It can often take days to receive even a basic reply, which adds unnecessary stress when you are seeking mental health support. The office policies feel extremely punitive. After years of attending appointments without issue, I once became too sick to join a virtual session and let them know as soon as I knew it wasn't going to be possible for me. I received an email from the Office Manager letting me know that this was the only time I would get a free pass to not be charged for missing the appointment. That tone felt unnecessarily harsh and patronizing, especially considering my provider at the time canceled last minute on three separate occasions for personal reasons. Everyone's lives can be unpredictable, and charging someone a couple hundred dollars if you miss an appointment (which is what would have happened had they charged me) seems excessive and unreasonable. Especially in today's world where the reality is, things come up- childcare, illness, emergencies and especially not when you were consistent with your appointments for years. The main reason for my review is that it appears they have changed their name slightly and this newer listing now shows a much higher star rating. If you search the older name (Daya Mental Health & Wellness), you will see lower ratings (3.5 overall) and reviews that more accurately reflect what I and many others have experienced. It's the same organization, the same staff and the same providers, which feels disingenuous to potential clients. Asheville has many mental health providers who treat their clients with compassion and respect- I'd encourage anyone seeding care to explore those options first.”
“This was not a good experience. Communication with providers and front office staff was difficult, and there did not seem to be consistent documentation of notes, progress, or concerns. As a patient, it did not feel like genuine care was being provided, and the experience came across as more focused on money than patient well-being.”
“Great experiences with Daya! Every there is always super helpful and supportive. They meet everyone with empathy and professionalism from intake, to individual counseling, to med management. I appreciate their attention to detail and the way the want people to feel heard and cared for. Highly recommend!!!”
“This practice is such a valuable resource in the community. The providers are thoughtful, compassionate, and truly dedicated to helping people feel supported. You can tell they take time to listen and work with each individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. It’s rare to find a place that combines professionalism with such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I’ve seen firsthand the care and commitment they bring to their work, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for therapy or medication management.”
