How likely are you to recommend Mountain Recovery & Mental Wellness, PLLC?
What patients say on Google
“Cindy Hockman is one of those rare gems when it comes to healthcare… especially mental health and recovery based care. It is hard enough to find a good primary care doctor and even harder to find a good psychiatric practitioner. Cindy isn’t just “good” though- she’s phenomenal. Patient centered care is a concept that so many providers are unable to execute but her practice hits it out of the park and restores faith in a very broken system. It’s so obvious that Cindy is not just passionate about helping people, she truly cares about the people she’s helping. I hate the “one size fits all” approach that so many practitioners use because no one person is the same and no one person should have the same course of treatment as the next, ESPECIALLY when it comes to anything mental health related. Cindy is the exact opposite and treats each client as an individual and tailors her “bedside manner” and treatment plans specifically for each client. It makes the entire experience feel much more humanizing, personal and collaborative instead of feeling like you’re being judged or told what to do without being able to give your own input for fear of losing your provider. Basically, she comes off as very personable without the “I’m better than you” attitude a lot of doctors have (I’m the daughter of a doctor so, hey, I’m allowed to say that! Ha) and makes it very easy to open up and be honest, even when it comes to really difficult topics. There’s a great article that supports the concept that “the opposite of addiction/mental health issues/trauma etc. is not recovery, it’s connection” and I feel that is the best way to succinctly describe the care that is offered through this practice. I can’t say enough good things and could go on and on but as someone who knows what it’s like on both sides of the proverbial fence (from receiving mental health treatment and having a career in the mental health field) I don’t just believe, I know, that Cindy is one of the best practitioners a person could come across. Please do yourself a favor and stop struggling to find someone who will treat you like a human being and give Cindy or her colleague a call… because everyone deserves to heal in a safe place.”
“I have had a wonderful experience with this practice. The staff is very professional, and treat me with dignity and empathy. It is clear that both Cindy and Jodi care deeply for providing quality services, and they take the time to really listen and understand. I feel comfortable and supported here and that is the most I could ask for with my health care. They are prompt and work with my needs. I recommend Mountain Recovery and Mental Wellness to all of my loved ones.”
“Cindy is the most amazing Therapist I have ever met. My story is very lengthy and she has been with us along our journey. My son who has been in and out of recovery has never connected with anyone like he does with Cindy. In order for him to get the care he needs. We drive two hours because she is that amazing. There’s no words to describe this amazing person. Not only did she provide care to him. She was there for me along this journey. Her professionalism, her kindness, her love you can feel it from the moment you see her. For anyone looking for a therapist that cares that gives her whole heart, Cindy is that person. I always tell her you were an angel from heaven. Definitely GOD sent.”
“Cindy is absolutely amazing! She has always been very professional, and is extremely knowledgeable. She has educated me about my mental well being and helped me to heal in many ways. I would recommend anyone looking for top rated compassionate care to reach out to Cindy!”
