“I am leaving this review regarding my experience with Dr. Sreedevi Vayslapalli, who has been managing my son’s monthly medication appointments. Unfortunately, our experience with this provider has been consistently unprofessional and uncomfortable. Our appointments are virtual and scheduled monthly for my son’s ADHD medication management. On multiple occasions, Dr. Vayslapalli joined the appointment 10–15 minutes late. While delays can happen, the issue has been how those situations were handled. During one appointment in December, Dr. Vayslapalli raised her voice at me because I was moving in the background while waiting for the appointment to begin. At that point she had already joined the meeting late, and I was simply managing normal household tasks while waiting. At another appointment in January, she again joined late and then criticized my son for being drowsy and responding quietly, despite the fact that he had been woken up early for the appointment and had been waiting for the provider to join. The most concerning interaction occurred during our most recent appointment. After joining more than 15 minutes late, Dr. Vayslapalli accused me of potentially using my son’s Adderall when I mentioned that he may be out of medication. This was said before I had even confirmed the exact pill count. My son does not take his medication on weekends, half-days, or digital learning days, so the assumption that the medication was being misused was extremely inappropriate and offensive. Being questioned in that manner—without evidence and in front of my child—was deeply concerning. Families deserve to be treated with respect and not be spoken to in an accusatory or dismissive tone. Because of these repeated experiences, we will be seeking care elsewhere. I hope the practice takes these concerns seriously so that other families do not have similar experiences.”
