What patients say on Google

“I was referred to this practice by a family member because I wanted help healing from past trauma and managing my mental health. My first one-hour appointment with Tammy Wright was wonderful. She listened, made me feel comfortable, and gave me hope. I was so impressed that I even referred a friend. Unfortunately, my medication management appointments were the complete opposite. My first provider, Abebe Solomon, insisted I was a type 2 diabetic because of a medication I take for insulin resistance from PCOS. When I explained I have PCOS, he asked me what PCOS was. The appointment felt rushed, dismissive, and judgmental. He also made comments like, "You're a young, beautiful girl and shouldn't have all these problems." I told him I didn't want to take Lexapro or trazodone, but he dismissed my concerns and prescribed five medications. When I picked them up, the pharmacist warned me that two of them could increase the risk of serotonin syndrome and advised me to contact the office before taking them together. I was then scheduled with Nneoma Aham, hoping for a better experience, but I left feeling just as unheard. She questioned why I hadn't started the medications despite the pharmacist's warning and even asked, "Wouldn't you be embarrassed if you had an episode in public?" When I told her I wasn't comfortable taking so many medications and wanted to discuss other options, she responded by saying that other girls my age take medications "behind closed doors." As someone with Bipolar I disorder, I was genuinely concerned about how multiple psychiatric medications could affect me, but instead of addressing those concerns, I felt like I was argued with until I was mentally exhausted. Every time I tried to explain myself, I was interrupted, and when I became emotional, I was told to "stop and take a breath" instead of being heard. Seeking mental health care is already difficult, and I expected compassion and collaboration. Instead, I left feeling judged, dismissed, and unheard. While Tammy Wright provided an excellent first appointment, my medication management experiences completely overshadowed it. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this practice based on my experience.”

“Usually do not post reviews but since this regarding people in their most vulnerable states trying to get help, I felt there was a need to say something. I am not going to specifics because it is something personal. I went here because I was referred to here by Tricare. First visit required intake and I only talked to the provider for an hour, they “diagnosed” me with 3 different things. I have received second and third opinion, all stated that those diagnosis are false. (I went through a licensed professional, so its not something I am exaggerating). Now for the medication process, my provider was Henok D. He prescribed me 4-5 different things. I asked what they were for and I was concerned about how much things he was prescribing me, but he mentioned it would balance everything. I am not a medical professional, so I trusted his opinion. Few months went by, I was just dead to the world. I felt nothing. Of course, this is the outcome of taking so many things on high doses. I spoke my concerns, and it was not met or resolved. This was my catalyst to getting second and third opinion from different places, they all mentioned that I was over medicated and no place EVER should combine what I was taking. Please do your research before anything!!”

“I absolutely loved the woman that did all my intake forms and help me with an appointment. Her name is Tracy I give her 10 out of 10 I have my appointments very quickly. This is by far the best mental healthcare that I have received and she made everything go smoothly.”

“Tela health doesnt work for everyone. This place does only telahealth so if your looking for imperson dont go here. And judging by the latest reviews they arent the most open minded seem judgmental providers. People want help not judgment”
