How likely are you to recommend Bronson Behavioral Health Hospital?
What patients say on Google
“This facility does not care about your loved ones. They won’t adjust medicine, they don’t do meaningful group therapy (if it even happens as scheduled), and they won’t deliver messages for your love ones to call. Bronson will push you this facility but anywhere else is better. I’ve spend hours over several days trying to talk to my pregnant partner. Despite requests to not interact with men, someone who is a victim of recent sexual assault will be woken up every day by a man touching them and being rude. Patients see a different or doctor or RN everyday. There is no consistent social worker. If your loved ones need to talk to someone, that is not possible in this facility. The nurses admit to patients they are understaffed and unable to care for patients. Even calling admissions and talking to Angel as Quanda could not get ahold of anyone in this facility within business hours. This facility will drug your loved ones until they fulfill state requirements and then discharge. DO NOT LET SOMEONE YOU LOVE COME HERE. Unless you want to go for a lawsuit. This is a share prison cell, the staff won’t be able to help your patient given the rules and lack of leadership, your loved ones will not get help here. Do not pay $1000 a day for this hotel room where no one helps the patients.”
“While i spent a week here over the Christmas holiday and try to be understanding of the staff, my stay here caused more damage then it was worth for being on suicide watch. Administration fudging my papers, ignoring dietary needs even when repeatedly pressed on it, crap Teleheath "therapist" that rarely talk to you and civil rights department that play at helping but ultimately dismiss your claims because it's bad for optics. Oh let's not forget, requesting a cab to avoid a domestic abuser and they called him to come get me anyway. Don't go here, you'll be damaged more them it aids. Some staff were helpful, one even put a letter in to help me get my records fixed and they did eventually listen to my dietary needs after 3, nearly 4, days of repetitive complains. This hospital made me fearful of ever going back for mental aid, it can burn.”
“I left this place with even more issues than I had before going in. I was forced to go here against my will and held longer than they said I would be. They think medication will magically fix everything and they give out meds like they're free candy. They don't have 1:1 sessions which prolongs the process of getting actual help. You can't get any sleep here which doesn't help the situation at all. Other patients are either crazy, dangerous, aggressive, or all of the above! There should be separate units for those who are depressed versus those who are schizophrenic, from jail, or are a threat to others. Most nurses here are overworked and understaffed, I felt so terribly bad for them. If anyone is looking into this place, DON'T! I'm now having to go through even more therapy just to get over the trauma this place inflicted on me! :)”
“They don’t answer the phone. I don’t think they realize that our loved ones are more than a patient they treat. How are we supposed to make sure they’re okay if no one can answer the phone. Cancel group time that really isn’t group time Then cover up windows and expect people to get better solely off of medication also expecting you to get better within days not enough time for medication to effect the brain. The doctor wants to “undiagnose” you with stuff you were diagnosed with for years. Yea ok Update: Who I was calling for got out and was drugged up on 5 medications. As soon as I saw him I knew something was off, he’s been having seizures on and off, ended up fainting today and having a seizure because he was dosed too high. Contacting the medical board because he could have died.”
