“Wonderful experience! Was able to get an appointment within a week. Office staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved my therapist. She was very knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable.”
“Might have been a good place at one point, there's not terrible people there, had one therapist fired, gave them another chance. My lady is good to talk to, but nothing is being done as a whole for my family. #neurodivergent partner has now waited two years for a psych appointment, may not be this place's fault, but now for three years was told family therapy wasn't possible, now that I'm giving up, they've offered it twice. I understand that the field is overloaded with people.needing help, and I am grateful my family has something, but after trying my patience for this long, when all I had was good faith, I am not trusting anyone there with analyzing anything or knowing whats best since we literally begged for more direction to get the help, and were repeatedly ignored. If you're going for support from a human as you vent, you'll get that. But when it's time to dive deeper and fix real things with love and work, I'm no longer interested in asking this place for guidance. That doesn't mean I have the answers though. The world is full of bad therapy or it's too expensive otherwise. Thanks for listening, thanks for trying. Also, we disclosed abuse outside the home from the past a few times, but noone's checking or working on that. The therapist we fired was crazy, but the ones we trust are not doing due diligence.”
“The therapist I'm seeing is nice, but the other people working there need to genuinely get it together. I asked to have my card charged after every session, which has not been happening at all and apparently they keep forgetting to charge me for almost every last month, so I just keep getting these huge bills. I'm getting very tired of this, it should not have to be a literal financial fight just to work out my childhood trauma with a professional. Edit: I called them to talk about the situation and they told me they can do partial payments. I told them that last time I was told that, they fully charged my bank account and just split it into two transactions. So because of that, I told them that I would just pay the full balance in November once I got all of my money. They just seemed like they do not care at all about this or even trying to keep customers. Like I've said, the therapist I was seeing is wonderful. I wish the absolute best for her. But the billing process is soulless and don't expect apologies for mistakes that ruin your bank account.”
“Susan was nice, but unfortunately that is the only good thing I can really say about my first and only appointment with her. It seemed like she didn’t read what I’d said in my paperwork that I’d filled out beforehand. She was very presumptuous, making multiple assumptions about my situation instead of asking questions. Imagine trying to help someone with their psychological conflicts and barely asking any questions. She even went so far as to assume the diagnosis and political views of a family member of mine. She put me on the defensive by arguing baseless claims instead of just asking me for more details or asking if her assumptions were at all possible. I’m not discouraged, and I will continue looking for a therapist. I need one who listens, asks questions, and reserves judgement for at least the second appointment. Susan did not do these things. She instead told anecdotes about herself before even having a clear picture of what my own issue was. The whole thing was just baffling, frustrating, and not at all productive, despite my best efforts. I’m lucky enough to be in a pretty good place overall. I would not go to her if you’re in a crisis or a fragile place. As a therapist, it is so important to have context or at least a general understanding of a client’s situation before jumping to conclusions. I’m very disappointed by the lack of professionalism and sheer number of blind assertions made in just one appointment.”
