What patients say on Google
“I started my journey with Together For Health and Wellness two years ago. I suffered from multiple chronic issues that were not being addressed with traditional western medicine. In the beginning, I had an extensive medical review with their nutritionist, Amanda, who identified gut issues through testing and helped repair the brain/gut barrier, addressed malabsorption, and stress management/nervous system regulation techniques. I then met with Emily to further address environmental factors, bacteria/viruses, and toxin binders/supplemental support. I received monthly infusions and glutathione pushes to enhance immune support, hydration, neutralize oxidative stress, and support liver detoxification. I have gained so much through this wonderful practice and appreciate each and everyone who works there- Emily, Amanda, Kristina, and Alex! My gut issues have resolved and while I used to experience ongoing fevers for months at a time and constant inflammation, that too has resolved. My son, who was also seen by Emily for skin issues and behavioral concerns that were out of the ordinary for him, was found to have a parasite. Once that was addressed, he returned to his normal, happy self. Thank you to everyone at Together for Health and Wellness for the wonderful care I received. I highly recommend this practice.”
“Unfortunately the functional medicine contract that you must agree to for six months doesn't have any guidelines for the care you receive. However, being hopeful for help, I signed. The 149 per month doesn't include any testing so I spent quite a bit of money for no help at all. I spent hours filling out the online questionnaire only to have it not in my chart so i sat through an hour long appointment telling them everything i wrote. I did bring my laptop with the questionnaire saved but she didn't want it. This was my second appointment and the PA from my first appointment hadn't pulled my labs off of mychart either. So it took two months for them to even order any testing. In the meantime, I had another diverticulitis flare up which basically compromised all of the testing I paid for because I had to take antibiotics. Then at this point I was transferred to Emily because my case was too complicated for the functional medicine person Amanda. At my appointment with Emily, she used the "I see you and I hear you" statement. Ugh! Then I mentioned that after five years I returned to the office for two weeks and I thought stress brought it on. She quickly asked if my office had any mold because if it did then none of the sibo protocol would work...seriously? That's when I was done. But my appointment in November had to be rescheduled to December because Emily was off. I rescheduled but then decided to cancel. I still paid for November even though I wasn't seen at all. And I will pay for December to finish out my six month contract. So disappointed. UPDATE...I do have to give Emily credit for calling me to resolve this issue. Hoping that my speaking up will help improve operations. I do see good reviews on here, it just wasn't a fit for me. Best of luck to everyone on their wellness journey!”
“Leaving an honest review of my experience here. I was highly recommended this office by a close friend that I trusted. I signed up for the 6month with the functional doc. care. We were diagnosing my problems, and i felt like i was in good care. Just a few months and my functional doctor left and after that the care became very poor. Every time I needed something, I called in they would tell me they would get back to me that day, but I never hear back. I always had to follow up, ask questions, where is my stuff, when are you going to do it. If I would send a message it would take days for them to reply. As soon as my 6 months are up I am definitely leaving. I hate leaving bad reviews, but I was just very disappointed in there care and communication. If I'm going to be paying an extra monthly fee for the functional, you better be giving me the care that I deserve!”
“Less than 2 weeks after 1st seeing Emily I have a confirmed diagnosis for the problems I have been struggling with for many years. I have a path forward to correct the issue and I couldn't be more pleased. I have seens MANY doctors in MANY fields and none of them had an answer. Emily took the time to listen to me and to dig into my history, she suspected an issue, ordered a test and there it was.... I am excited to transform my health with her continued care. 10 Stars!!!”
