What patients say on Google

“The billing practices at this clinic are ridiculous. If you go for a well-check and have any pre-existing conditions or discuss any concerns at all, you will be billed for a regular office visit. I have never experienced this at any other provider. Additionally, they have charged high fees for filling out a simple form. I will not be visiting in the future due to these billing practices.”

“I was hoping to resolve this situation without having to leave a review. I addressed my concerns by emailing Aylo (Jackson) directly however I never received a direct response. I am attaching the email that was sent...... I am writing to formally express my concern regarding my recent visit to your office on ..... I was told over the phone that I could be seen for both a sick visit and a weight loss appointment that had already been scheduled for later that day. The weight loss visit was intended as a follow-up related to recent appointments with my neurologist and oncologist. When the provider entered the room, she informed me that only one concern could be addressed during the visit. I completely understood and chose to proceed with the sick visit, as I was feeling very unwell. I explained that I had been seen earlier in the week by another physician and had been prescribed cough medicine and a nasal spray, neither of which were helping. I advocated for myself and expressed that my symptoms were worsening and that I felt I needed a different course of treatment. Unfortunately, I did not feel heard. The provider’s communication felt dismissive and belittling, and my concerns were not addressed in a way that made me feel supported as a patient. During the exam, my ears and sinus pressure points were checked; however, my lungs were never auscultated despite my ongoing respiratory symptoms. No additional diagnostic testing was performed, including rechecking for flu or COVID. I was again prescribed cough pills and additional nasal spray. I left the appointment feeling upset, unheard, and concerned that my symptoms were not thoroughly evaluated. Later, I returned to the facility where I had originally been seen earlier that week. I was retested and diagnosed with COVID. That provider prescribed steroids, and I have since experienced significant improvement. I would like to note that I had no issues with the front office staff. They were professional and very pleasant throughout my visit. I had hoped to establish primary care with your practice; however, after this experience, I have decided to seek care elsewhere. I believe patients deserve to feel listened to, respected, and thoroughly evaluated especially when advocating for their health. I hope this feedback can be used to improve patient care and communication moving forward. I would appreciate acknowledgment of this concern and any information regarding how this matter will be addressed. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.”
