What patients say on Google
“The staff is wonderful when you can get an appointment and see someone in office. I have never experienced in my entire life what I went through trying to get an appointment when I had serious pulmonary issues including difficulty breathing. I tried everything I mean everything. The nurse called me two days later and told me she was sorry but they didn’t have an appointment available until ten days from them. This all repeated 4 days later when I was still sick. Yes I did go to urgent care. Without success. There isn’t even a phone number they will answer. I was hung up multiple times trying. I ended up going online for a video appointment with a doc in the box. Looking for a new doctor.”
“Mis-coded an annual physical which is supposed to be free. They even told me it was free as I left the office. Now they are endlessly harassing me for money that I do not owe them. I used to have good feelings about this facility because my PA is really good. But Augusta health is rotten to the core. Evil people. Pure and simple.”
“I feel like the luckiest woman in the world to have Nurse Practitioner Justine Paladino as my primary care provider. At 55 years old, I can confidently say she is the best provider I’ve ever had. Justine offers truly comprehensive, holistic care—tending to both my physical and mental health with attentiveness and compassion. She leaves no stone unturned, taking the time to understand the full picture of my well-being. When I speak, she really listens. Her bedside manner is second to none—kind, present, and reassuring. I always leave her office feeling heard, supported, and empowered in my health journey. Justine sets the gold standard for what health care should be.”
“I’ve come to realize that greed unfortunately runs deep in the medical industry, and it’s disheartening to now see it reflected at Augusta Medical Center. I’ve been a patient here for over eight years, and for the first time during a routine wellness visit, I was charged for two appointments in one. Why? Because I brought up concerns about my glucose levels and unexplained weight gain—issues I’ve discussed in past wellness visits without issue. I was shocked to learn that addressing what I consider core aspects of my health now comes with an additional $198 charge. No extra time was spent, and nothing outside the norm of my usual wellness visits was discussed. Glucose monitoring has consistently been part of my routine care, yet now it’s being used as justification for double billing. When questioned, the blame gets passed back and forth between the clinic and the insurance company. The truth is, both sides are complicit in a system that prioritizes profit over patient care. This feels like exploitation, and it’s deeply disappointing. Shame on you. I hope you buy something nice with that extra money, because that is the last dollar you will ever receive from me.”
