How likely are you to recommend Apogee Behavioral Medicine - Winston-Salem?
What patients say on Google
“I called to schedule an appointment with a counselor/therapist. I had never been to Apogee before however the positive reviews made it sound like a good place. I made it clear to the scheduler what kind of help I needed and they put me down for an appointment six weeks out. I waited my six weeks, did all my pre appointment paperwork, and was excited to start working on my issue. I get to my appointment only to find out that this place requires everyone to first meet with a medicine provider first for assessment. I was never told this and the provider said that they wished the schedulers would make that know over the phone. I don’t need medicine and the provider said they have no training in counseling. All they could do was put me down for a recommendation for counseling and that I’d have to wait a few weeks to a month or more to get an appointment. So Apogee deliberately schedules new clients to meet with a med prescriber despite not every situation needing meds with the business model of churning patients through the door. Mood Treatment is the same way after they fired all the therapists and now just push people through med appointments. Anywho, my Apogee appointment was 30 minutes, accomplished nothing but putting me on a wait list and I was sent a HUGE bill (more than I’ve ever been charged for a full counseling session anywhere else before) for the privilege. I won’t be going back.”
“I love Apogee Behavioral medicine! They take my insurance, they listen to my concerns and they make sure I am feeling good! Renee Goulding is the best! I felt very welcome here and I can't wait to work with you guys forever! I love Apogee Behavioral medicine!”
“I went with Apogee because nowhere else seemed to require the initial visit be a consultation, and honestly I feel like that is the key that has made things with Apogee so successful for me. Spending the time doing the consultation with Ms Tipler gave me I think the best foundation for starting treatment and as a result, I've received treatment that feels more successful than it has at other practices I've tried. I know there can be a lot of trial and error involved in med management but I feel like folks at Apogee take the time to really hear you out and learn about you and it makes treatment more meaningful and successful. Thank you so much, I'm so glad to feel like I'm on the right track with my meds for the first time in years.”
“The experiences my son and I have had with Apogee Behavioral Medicine are nothing less than outstanding. Ellis is such a pleasure to speak to. Her empathy is genuine and her compassion for her patients is evident in everything she does. I am so glad we found Apogee when my 17 yr. old son needed help. If anyone you know is in crisis and needs a Dr. I wouldn't hesitate to give them a call. You won't regret it.”
