How likely are you to recommend Wright Choice Counseling?
What patients say on Google
“I highly recommend this counseling practice! The team is incredibly compassionate, caring, and supportive. You can truly tell they have a heart for helping people and giving back to the community. They create a welcoming environment where people feel safe, heard, and valued. It’s rare to find a practice that cares so deeply about both their clients and the community around them. So thankful for the work they do! 💙”
“I highly don't recommend coming here. I've been to several different places for therapy and this might be the worst one I've come across. Katrina Schoenfeld lied to my face and said she would call to check in the next day after an appointment but then refused to call. She demanded I come in for another appointment to address things but she basically just said she didn't believe what I was saying despite me showing photo evidence previously. The same dayWhen I reached out to the practice to detail my concerns they refused to speak on the phone. The practice does not follow its own policies at all. They say they bill at time of service and the bill must be paid to continue services but that was not my experience. Provided insurance info on the first day yet it was not added so it showed a $450 bill instead of the 80 it should have been. So I paid 100 at the time which was more than I even owed. They also made an unauthorized charge on my account the day Katrina refused to call me though I did get it back later. I was unemployed at the time and they knew this. Absolutely unacceptable behavior from somewhere that claims to help people. They also sent me my records with no authorization form and nothing but a text from a number.I don't usually use providing my address and they sent my entire record without verifying it was me in anyway.”
“I want to start with that overall, I do believe that this practice was created to help and has the best intentions. However, I felt it was important to share my experience so maybe I can help someone else who may have similar viewpoints to me. Jessica is likely a great fit for someone who is a conservative Christian, yet if you are of a more liberal or open-minded mindset you may not feel safe in the space or sharing freely. Additionally, I experienced some countertransference from Jessica’s past relationship and current marriage. I felt really un-listened to when she would reference her past relationship before meeting her current husband in relation to my relationship as a “way to improve” or “change my situation” rather than listening to me, what my current situation is, how I feel about it and how I can approach the scenario (without bias or insinuating judgement.) Ultimately it was not a good fit therapeutically and that is okay. This is not to say anyone at the practice is innately bad or had bad intentions; yet as someone who has been in therapy most of my life, I am aware this situation is not normal typically and wanted to provide some information for someone who may align with me in terms of therapeutic needs and boundaries.”
“I highly recommend this well rounded team of therapists and staff to many people seeking services with full trust! All of the therapists I’ve gotten to know care deeply and are passionate about this work.”
