“I just had a terrible experience over the phone where they actually hung up on me & were incredibly rude. I didn’t raise my voice or yell or anything. So I wasn’t belligerent or anything. I was very calm, polite, & respectful. I’m now sitting here crying. We’ve been on the waiting list for a year for my children to be seen there. My oldest daughter finally received an appointment. We were so excited but she woke up not feeling well. Unfortunately, I had to call & see if we could reschedule. They put me on a long hold. Then came back & told me this was our 2nd no show so they wouldn’t reschedule us. 🤔 This was our 1st appt. I tried to explain this & the guy hung up on me. I double checked my calendar & email to look at the paperwork to see if I was losing my mind. And nope, this was our 1st appt. I called back and the man wouldn’t let me talk, raised his voice & kept interrupting me. I explained that I just wanted him to hear my explanation & that he was being rude & he finally gave me permission to talk. I explained. He then checked the notes & it was written that we cancelled because “I didn’t have a ride.” I explained to him that that doesn’t make any sense because I have my own car. He replied that they wouldn’t be rescheduling and hung up the phone. What in the world? The interesting thing is, I never gave them my daughter’s or my name. Maybe they could see it on caller Id but you would think they would double check. The whole experience was terrible. Really disappointing as we were looking forward to being apart if this practice.”
