How likely are you to recommend Woodland Springs?
What patients say on Google
“This place should be shut down. Their own policies state a doctor will contact you and a psychiatrist within 24 hours of admission. Neither was done. Our daughter was taken and out I to this place and no one bothered to communicate with us about anything. You can't reach anybody bubohone as goes to full mailbox or just gets hung up. Our daughter had no orientation on arrival so had. I idea what was available to her for treatment options. Was freezing cold and the staff were incredibly mean according to her. We were told that some random person would make a medical recommendation as to how long she should stay and if we took her out they would file with PCS. 4 days in and NO ONE has contacted us with a diagnosis or recommendation as to length of stay it treatment plan or anything. Our daughter is more traumatized after being there than what brought her in to begin with. I am going on record that whenever they get around to giving us their medical recommendation we will disregard it because they are malfeasant and deliberately extend the time to line their own pockets and provide no meaningful support to the children in their custody. There is no medical value in having your child stay here. We anticipate reviewing legal options since the time frame has passed for them to provide a basic diagnosis by their own SOP. We, as parents deserve to know what is happening to our child.”
“I was placed here by the court, and I'm glad I was because this program taught me a lot. It helped me grow, strengthen my faith in God, and showed me how therapy and music can help people express their emotions and see life in a new way. Thank you to everyone who works here. A couple of suggestions I have are: In the shower, water collects around the handle and doesn't drain well. I'm worried it could cause mold over time, so maybe adding a small drain hole could help. For the night snack, I think two sandwiches instead of one would be nice. I asked a few others, and many agreed. Some also said hot chips would be a good addition. I don't know everything that goes into running this place, but I just wanted to share my thoughts. Thank you again for everything you do.”
“This was the worst hospital I've ever been to. The staff is not trained to deal with anything. I didn't feel safe. The men and women should not have been together. It was like pulling teeth just to get chapstick. The nurses were like sadists that enjoyed torturing you. I couldn't even get them to send a script to the pharmacy correctly. I'm not worried that I won't even get my FMLA paperwork filled out by them in time to save my job. The therapists are especially terrible. I would have never gone to this hospital had I seen these reviews. You should be ashamed of yourselves for running a business this poorly. It's embarrassing that you guys have almost zero decent reviews. I haven't heard any success stories yet. This place should be sued by their patients. If there was an authority to express these concerns to, I would be shouting in the street. Do not go to this hospital. I repeat: DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL IF YOU CARE ABOUT ANYONE YOU PUT INTO IT.”
“What a place. I was placed there by the court after a dispute with my husband and Dr. Bharath Raj could have released me that first day when he seen that I wasn’t a harm to myself but he said that my insurance would pay up to x amount of days and he wanted to take them fully. My lawyer left me messages and they came through 3-4 days late. My lawyer couldn’t get through to an actual person at all, he tried all the options and nothing. Supposedly they give you messages you get every morning. I kept asking for my messages every day and nothing. I had a domestic dispute with my husband, I never tried to harm myself, I didn’t have suicidal thoughts I didn’t want to harm others. I tried to explain to Raj my situation and he told me “you’re just focused on going home” yes of course I was sir, I needed to go back to work, my husband missed work and my children needed me home. Dr. Bharath Raj doesn’t actually evaluate you. He just looks at how long the insurance can pay. He immediately said 7-10 days. That’s also what the intake person that showed me the bill for 7-10 days and other therapist said. Him and I had a less than 5 minute FaceTime call for the intake. Then he came around every 4-5 days and asked are you feeling suicidal? No. Are you wanting to harm yourself. No. Then left. Any conversation after that was never had by him. He said I was focused on leaving even as I did every single class and tried to absorb every bit of knowledge from his therapists and classes. His therapists recommended that I leave 4 days in, we did a call with my husband to know I had family support but he refused because he wanted to keep me as long as the insurance paid. Every time I spoke with him after that he said I was focused on just getting out. I called his liaison lady and never got a word back. He had no choice but to release me when the court date came up because he had no probable cause to keep me. I do not recommend this place and if you do go there, withhold your insurance information so they don’t try to bill them as long as possible and keep you longer than needed. I am still traumatized by this place. I was placed in the Meadows unit and I asked for a second opinion/evaluation and was told I’d have to start all over. This place can be helpful for some, but it’s mostly just a money grab. So disgusting of this place to prey on those that are going through a hard time and truly need help to just be treated this way. Don’t get me started on how some, not all, of the staff makes you feel like you’re less of a human worthy of respect. I have spoken to my insurance about this too. Such fraudulence place shouldn’t be allowed. Oh just read the review about chapstick and the staff acts like you’re asking for the world to just get your chapstick to apply and return. And yes you get housed with weirdos that ask you to be their girlfriend and you can’t sleep at night because you can’t close your damm door. I reported it and so did others but we still had to stay in the same place with that person for a few days. So Damm scary! Wondering if they’re going to come in when you’re showering or sleeping and do something. My patient rights were absolutely violated in so many ways and everyone turned a blind eye. The ones that did tell me that they were trying all they could or that the Dr had a God complex and that it goes in on ear and out the other, I’m thankful for y’all but y’all are all accomplices to what these doctors are doing. It’s disgusting and an abandonment of what you all studied. The fact that everyone there just falls in line for the money is so gross. We are human being, not cash cows. I hope this place gets investigated.”
